Well done Jo! Bet that feels fantastic. :j
Claire - We have a foam mattress that has a memory foam topper built in - it's bliss. I know a lot of people find them too hot but I haven't had that issue. We do have memory foam pillows too but I can't get on with them. We started out with just a topper on our old mattress and loved it but saved up for the mattress after DH's accident to make nights a bit more comfortable for him.
Just been to town and done the "back to school" stuff for DD2 - just need to get her football boots but will shop around on line for them, have spent a small fortune and not even started on DD1 whose uniform is only available from the school outfitter and the skirts are £26 a pop. I have to get her skirts/trousers/jumpers/blouses and entire games kit from them, all with the school logo on. Good job she doesn't grow very quickly."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Well done JO!
Have you done the roll of Honour yet? I want to read your story!
And has anyone seen Beanielou recently? is she on holiday?

Claire that is a cheap one but it's only just over an inch thick - I'd go for at least 2 inches as a minimum but obviously the thicker you can afford the more comfort you'll get from it. Ours is 4 inches of memory foam."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
