Morning All
Thank goodness its Friday! Today I shall need to get organised 2 weeks today I pick up the keys to our new house
Need to also go and pick up some clothes I was selling via a clothes agency as they are shutting down and take B swimming.
Am also tempted to go and have a look around the antiques/secondhand shop and find some bargains
Whats everyone else up to?

Morning Sal and all who follow
Did you have any luck at the auction the other day Sal?
Looks like a glorious morning out there, shame I've been awake half the ruddy night.....I was so tired but just couldn't drop off to sleep.
Plan of action for today - pop to town for some food essentials to last over the weekend and put in a Mr T order to be delivered next week.
Exciting stuff."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Pooky No I didn't win either of the chests I left bids on...wasn't suprised as I put my max bid at £100 and they were worth probably more than that but I wasn't prepared to pay it.
I slept ok until B got up for the toilet around 3am and so did R and then he was wide awake and wanting to have full on conversations and I was feeling rather sleepy. Most unlike him but think its all the pain medication he's on at the moment...hes sooo chilled out lol
How easy are roman blinds to make Pooky?I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Roman blinds are fairly easy - as long as you do your prep and get all your seams, pockets and edges nice and straight. There's some tutorials over on the sewing thread at the moment, someone else is having a go at making some."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

I must get sewing machine out and get aquainted first (it was one given to me and Ive not used it before). I need to also find out the window size so can't really do much until I get keys...
Would love to have all the soft furnishings done before R gets back from his holidaysI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Morning Pooky, Sal and everyone who follows :hello:
It's Fridaaaaay!! And for me it's Paydaaaaay! :j It's a nice morning here too. I plan to do my budgeting for the next month and I also have a big project due so that will take up a lot of time.
Pooky and Sal - not good about the disturbed night's sleep
I hate it when that happens.
On my way in shortly....chat soon.

Would the agents not lend you the keys for a couple of hours to go in and measure up?
Worth asking.....at least you could get a head start on some bits then ( knowing what poles/tracks/fittings are at each window would help too)"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Morning all!
Sorry to hear about restless sleeps, they are the worst!
I'm in work until 6pm and already bored as they dont have enough work for me and they dont really care what I get upto (prob because I'm leaving in a few weeks
)
All the lads in the office have gone for breakfast baguettes as its payday and a monthly ritual and this time I was strong and stuck to my fruit salad as I know a breakfast baguette would make my tummy very unhappy! Plus, I'm also trying to test out my will power....
Hosting my first 'dinner party' tonight so quite nervous about that as I have no cooking skills!!:j *~* 2011 - TRY TO GET CREDIT CARD AS LOW AS POSS BUT STILL HAVE FUN *~* :j0 -
Good morning
Lovely again here,
Not feeling right this morning, all shaky and feeling blurrgghhh dunno whether its cause at 3pm i was woken up by Nathan he had an accident, then he wasn't feeling well so came in with me, we both then tossed and turned for hours then at 6.30 someones phone went off, was just dropping off to sleep and the delivery bloke for the catalogue came at 8.20 to pick up those dresses i'd ordered cause they are too big
, I have eaten my porridge thinking it was because i needed to eat, but still feel funny
.
more washing on the agenda for me today
got my bedding in the machine ready to go out, then nathans bedding, a load of towels and my table cloths from the weekend. then i'm finished
My neighbour did the rest of the ironing yesterday, bought it all back on hangers
so all i had to do was put away bliss
, only got about 18 items left now
.
has anyone got a memory foam mattress or topper and pillows? I'm thinking of getting one, cause i just cannot get comfortable, and my matress is only just over a year old, was wondering if it would help?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
