Butti - I have very limited cooking skills, i didnt even know what a bulb of garlic was! lol

Wee_jo - I'm cooking a coconut chicken curry as everyone who is attending has some requirements:
    OH: Coeliac
OH Friend: wants a curry but not too spicy or with too many tomatoes
OH Friend GF: will only eat chicken
Me: on a dairy free diet for 2 weeks - hopefully coconut milk will be ok!

Wow!!!! That is some list of requirements. The curry sounds like a great idea though....guess what I want for my tea now??!

Jo, yeah that it's pay day! Spend your money wisely!

I'm in an indifferent mood. I got accused of being bitter for having the same plans for the weekend as I do every weekend and for missing the big cheese!

I will, LMC - today is debt free day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j

Oh and can I just ask, what is the big cheese? :o

  • Jo, well done on today being DF day.

The Big Cheese was an event that was held in Carephilly, I was going to go and meet up with Claire and some work colleagues too. Claire will be able to explain it better than me.
  • My boyfriend's got a memory foam mattress at home and I love it, it's like sleeping on a giant marshmallow. :D I've heard they're not very good if it's a hot night but as he sleeps with the windows wide open even in the middle of winter, I've never had that problem.

Well I'll let you know how I get on and PM the recipe if it turns out ok, I usually like hot spicy curries so this will be a refreshing change!

Also, congrats on DF today!!!

Sara, you should have been at the meet in Bristol, the waitress was sick of us there were so many dietary requirements!

I'm another one with a disturbed night, I keep flashing hot and cold so I think I'm coming down with something. Wonder if we're all synchronised like groups of women get with periods!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Well done Sara...you definately get extra points for catering for your guests needs. Sounds nice by the way.

I've put up 6 tiles, yes a whole 6! :jThey are straight and now I'm going to have a cup of tea.

Think today is going to be a bit more satisfying than trying to chip them off when they've been glued to sealant.
