I've just created an account with discogs so will get on with (hopefully) selling some of my vinyl. I still need to look into it all a bit more but I'm feeling quite positive about it all.

Apart from needing the money, reclaiming some floorspace would be great :D

Got home to next year's water bill. This is fine, it's only gone up about £1.85 per month.

Also on the doormat was ed.f's latest bill informing me that they were going to put the dual dd up from £70 p/m to £88 p/m. I am already £63.45 in credit!!! On one of the pages was their projection for the next year's consumption and what it would cost - guess what, divided it by 12 and it came out at £74.60. How do they get away with this? I bet there are so many people who just look at it and think oh well that it's just another bill that's gone up.

I was straight on the phone and said that they could reduce it to £75 per month (or I was going to suggest that we just go back to separate quarterly billing but it didn't come to that).

I'm seriously considering reducing our virgin package too but need to have a think about how to do it.

Have done dd's homework with her and her reading, cleaned bathroom, cooked tea and washed all the towels and hung up to dry. I have a little bit of ironing to do then I'm going to do my nails and have (yet) another play around with next month's figures.

    I'm becoming obsessed.....;)

Looks like my Speed Awareness Course (if I get offered it) will cost £85

    Oh well......

£2.58 PAD to barclaycard today :)

I have ordered my mum a basket of cupcakes and a bottle of wine from my friend the cake lady for mother's day.

Have decided I'm going to the pub for lunch today - another tenner really isn't going to make much difference to things as they stand right now :o

Food shop tonight - hoping to come in under £30...

    Hmmmm to speed awareness course,

I paid £60 for my fine but I did get 3 speedy points too, that made me very careful for 3 years !

I suppose you don't get the points if you do the course ?

I need to get another airer, just not sure where to put it though ...

Yep I can't afford to have to keep declaring the points on my insurance for the next 3 years...so annoying! You're right Cours = 0 points :)

I cunningly shoved my airer under the breakfast bar - you can almost not see it :D

Another day, another potential huge bill hurtling towards me...

Boiler has gone weird again and there's no hot water :(. I have just had an extremely deep hot bath so don't know if that's what's causing it. Anyway it won't fire up. I have just left it now and am hoping that the heating comes on tomorrow.

I am going to console myself with fish fingers in 2 thick slices of HM bread and real butter..

On plus siode fodd shop only came to £26.15. I have still got to buy the lamb though.

Going to watch Superscrimpers now because I need all the help I can get at the moment, not that I think they can teach me much.

Really peed off right now :(

There appears to be hot water again. Phew...

    Meal plan

    Saturday - chilli & rice
Sunday - slow roasted lamb and all the trimmings
    Monday - salmon pasta
    Tuesday - at mums
    Wednesday - fajitas
Thursday - scampi, chips & sweetcorn
    Friday - undecided

I got all the hoovering and the majority of the washing done last night so I haven't much to do this weekend. I've just done the few dark bits that we wore today and hung them out on my newly acquired airer. It looks like a chinese laundry in my kitchen :o

Off to bed in a minute. I've been really busy at work the last few days and I've got a really good book by India Knight from the library that I've just started to get into.

Is there an error code? What kind of boiler is it?

It's a combi boiler...no error code just a flashing light. Just been to check it and it's flashing every 5 seconds which is good. Before it was flashing every half a second (not good).

What's your water pressure showing as on the gauge?
