Polesalot's Climb to Debt Freedom

I called the CSA up earlier to register with their text service. They will text me when any money they receive is leaving their account and when I should expect it to credit mine. The man i spoke to was really helpful and also confirmed that this month's money has been received and has left their account this morning so I can i expect it by Thursday :j
That is a bit of a relief really as i still wasn't convinced that the ex's company would keep their word and send it on time but they have.
I will have (yet another) play around with the figures and see if I can manage to get the exhaust fixed this month. Fingers crossed.
To do list
Iron duvet covers and pillowcases
Clean DD's school shoes
Parcel up ebay sale
I'm trying to be in bed by 10.15 every day this week. I think the last 2 weeks have been late every night. I just can't do it. I'm not 21 any more. I'm not 31 any more either :rotfl:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

I've had a fantabulous pole class. I almost managed to do a move that I've been putting off for the last 18 months because I've done it about 3 times before and I know that it hurts like hell. I say 'almost' because I had to be pushed up the pole but that was the easy bit - the main thing is that I managed to do the painful bit. Anyway I will have a bruised collar-bone tomorrow and I already feel battered but I'm pleased with myself. I will definitely do it next week - no more wussing out
And my footie team won 3-0.

And I'm not going to make it to bed by 10.15 tonight either like I have been promising myself because I am going to watch Pointless that i recorded earlier.

After weeks of tweaking the budget I have finally worked out that I can get my exhaust this (salary) month.:j
It does leave things really tight because I have to pay for this term's ASC fees which is a fair chunk but by reducing my CC payment I can just about do it.
I still have my friend's 40th present to get and I have a couple of nights out planned but I reckon with the ebay sales I should be OK.
Right...off to bed now....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Child maintenance has credited my account this morning :T and on looking at Qu1dco I can see that my £40 cashback for my car insurance is going to be paid in the next payment run at the end of the month :T
