Car came to £59.82 :j am very relieved about that. There is another problem that will need sorting soon(ish) that shouldn't come to more than £150 so I'll give myself 3 months to save for that and get it sorted. I really need to start taking better care of my car. I haven't really had any trouble with it until now (well there was an awful time when the cd player went wrong) and it is 8 years old.

The garage also sorted out my reverse light :) it will be a relief being able to park without worrying or scaring whoever is behind me.

£5.18 PAD :) This is becoming a delicious habit.

£12.55 on OnePoll - loads of surveys this afternoon :)

Yes I was quite excited when I saw the long list of surveys:D I'm at £35.90...screened out of a couple. Roll on my £40...I can add it to my £105 birthday money. Not sure what I'm saving for:rotfl:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Food shop tonight was £26.58. I'm getting so good at this :D. DD and I will have a 'bung in the oven' curry tomorrow night whilst we're babysitting so need to go to Ada's for that tomorrow. We'll still stay within the £35 weekly budget though :p.

Back with next week's meal plan in a bit...

My mum gave me a really nice nail varnish that she doesn't like so maybe that will quash my yearning to splash out on some this weekend. Or maybe it won't ;)

I do want to pop into town to get my eyebrows threaded on Sunday though. It really makes my whole face look tidier and they have been seriously neglected recently.

    £2 in the Hedgehog :)

    Meal plan

    Tonight - Pie and chips
    Tomorrow - Curry
Sunday - I'll take DD out for lunch, buttered crumpets for tea
    Monday - Salmon pasta
Tuesday - at mum and dads
    Wednesday - Pizza
    Thursday - Scampi & chips

Not quite as healthy as I'd like but a lot of it is stuff from the freezer and some of it is homemade....

All the ironing has been done and I have finished a couple more loads of washing. Most of it is stuff that doesn't need ironing :j

I've started using the Wa!trose bottom butter on my face. I bought it last year but didn't use it for long but saw it lurking in the cupboard and remembered that it does really make my skin all soft and dewy. So I'm just using it at night (it's rather greasy) and any excess is going all over my hands. I've decided I want pretty hands again rather than the old lady hand that I've been sporting for the last ten years. Plus it should help get rid of all the 'hand corns' I've acquired from pole :D

    Bring on the weekend

Just need to clear up, put face on and dry hair. I want to get to Ada's before all the riff-raff turn up :D

Well we're round at my sister's now. I have a headache (my own fault for sleeping in this morning :() so I'm using her iPad and the kids are playing DVD shops while I wait for the m!graleve to kick in

Spent more than I wanted to in Ada's but it was all on either reduced stuff or necessary stuff like body lotions :o They had fajita kits 2 for £3.

I bought myself a cardigan for £13. It's one of those drapey ones with no buttons. It's indigo blue and will look nice with jeans and a white t-shirt. I'm just fed up of not having anything decent (or even half decent) to wear at the weekend. I can't remember the last time I bought myself any clothes that weren't PJs or underwear :o

I've decided that the other car problem will need to be sorted out PDQ. The mechanic said it's one of those things that could go in 2 weeks or 2 months. I think I'd rather get it done now whilst I have the money rather than leaving it and then costing double.
