I had a payment schedule from the CSA last year and, seeing as I didn't know what the CSA were like, got quite excited that I should be getting £75 a week from the ex:rotfl: Needless to say I didn't get anything til about October (from April)...the CSA were no help whatsover. He's been paying me regularly now, but not through them - and I just haven't heard a thing for them. I guess if you go quiet with them they just forget about it.
Boo to no tax credits:o Goodness, I couldn't live without mine, my wages are dire. That's another worry about when girls leave me - I won't have children at home so my tax credits will go/drop scarily I assume:( but hey ho, dd2 is still not quite a teen so i have a few years yet. My millionaire just hasn't found me yet:rotfl: (he'll have to look very hard though as I don't really go out much:o:o)
£150 is a heck of a PAD, well done you:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I suppose I am lucky that my salary is good. Tax credits saved my backside quite a few times when I was part-time and dd was at nursery.
That PAD was my monthly DD. I'm going to try to do even more next month. I'd like to clear the card by end of June when the 0% runs out. I think it stands at just over £1100 at the moment.
My pole teacher is starting power-hooping classes. You know those weighted hula-hoops that you spin round your waist? It's supposed to be really good for toning up your core. I have neither the time or the money to go to the classes but about 3 years ago I got my mum one of the hoops for xmas and she no longer uses it so I now have it. I did 15 minutes earlier and I was really hot when I finished! I think I'm going to try to do 15 minutes every day and see what effect it has. At the moment I think I'm just going to feel a bit battered by tomorrow.
Meal plan:-
Saturday - Spag bol
Sunday - Beef casserole, roast potatoes, veg, yorkshire puds
Monday - salmon pasta
Tuesday - at mums
Wednesday - thai green curry
Thursday - scampi, chips and sweetcorn
Friday - undecided...
We had chicken korma last night and there was some left over for another meal, spag bol tonight and there was enough over for another two meals :TIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Tea things all cleared away, dd is in bed reading and washing machine has just finished the second lot of bedding so that has been hung out on the airer in the kitchen. I have a small amount of ironing to do then I'm going to slob on the sofa with a bowl of icecream and some chocolates...........:pIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

Ahhhhh wish my dds would be in bed reading right now;) For dd1 in particular it's just the start of her evening. Oh to be a teenager again - I remember staying up til 2am reading...'Sweet Dreams' books into the early hours:rotfl:
Ironing on a Saturday night? You are very good young lady - I am having a glass of wine, on my backside watching Take me Out..have my Kindle here too as I'm reading a fab book that I want to finish:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Aah Sweet Dreams books. That is a blast from the past! I read loads of those....
The ironing only took me about 15 mins. I just didn't want any hanging over till tomorrow night when there's lots on TV i want to watch
I got a few books out at the library and am hoping that I might even read some of them this timeIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I slept in till nearly 9 this morning! I must have needed it. I was good last night and for the first time in ages i didn't watch TV in bed and just started one of my library books.
I've done my power-hooping but already I have reduced the time to just 5 minutesreasons being it is actually quite painful (even for someone used to the pain of pole - think being punched in the kidneys) but also 5 minutes a day is quite a time to just stand there hula hooping. It will pan out to 35 minutes a week and that on top of the running and pole will be enough exercise for me.
I've showered, hair washed and trimmed my fringe. We've had breakfast and dd has done the washing up bless her. I'm taking advantage of this all the time she's willing to do itI wonder if she'd like to clean the oven?
She's having a bath now and washing her hair. I will trim her fringe in a minute so she's all smart for going back to school.
We're having casserole for lunch and afterwards if we can manage it we are going to go for a nice walk so today should be a NSD.
Just need to get all school related things together, homework, pe kit etc. I love how we're so organised the first few days after the holiday. It won't last.

I've just counted up the Hedgehog and there is £72.60 in there :j And I haven't even noticed it going in there
That's about £20 more than I had hoped so i am very pleased. It's given me the motivation to carry on.
Also my dad took my sister's laptop into an independent PC shop near here as she needed to sort out her Skype. Dad said they were really helpful, sorted it all out and didn't even charge him. They sell PC's too and also clean up all the carp that
m!cr0s0ft put on them and only work out about £20 more than getting one from pcw0rld. I'm a bit dense when it comes to computers so having someone like this on side can only be good. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Brilliant amount in the hedgehog:beer:
I woke up at about 8.30 (I did set the alarm though or I'd have slept for hours more:o) and I stayed in bed reading my book, I wanted to finish it. It was fab, but too sad:(
I am now feeling like I could go back to sleep - half a bottle of wine has finished me off:o:o (Last night's wine of course, I haven't been drinking wine for breakfast;))I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Of course you haven'tIt does read that way though
I've just cut dd's hair and she's drying it now so we'll see how good the fringe looks....
We have a change of plan and are going for our walk soon then just have snacky bits for lunch and the casserole about 4.30 and then we'll do pancakes. We won't be here for tea on Tuesday as I have my pole class. My dad always does pancakes anyway so I'm sure we'll have some more there, it's just nice to do them here too. Besides I have already cheated and bought a pancake mix.

Another NSD :T. We went out for our walk first stopping off at mum and dad's to collect dd's bike. Slung that in the back of the car and went to this place about a 5 minute drive away. It's all reclaimed quarry and farmland that they (the council I guess??) have made all walker friendly. Loads of people walk their dogs there, there's horse trails, loads of footpaths, a lake, a tree house, lots of modern sculpture from tree trunks, you get the picture. Plus it has free parking
We walked for miles, well at least I did, dd rode her bike. I reckon we did about 4 miles and were walking for an hour and a half. It felt wonderful to be out just marcvhing along (I had to keep up with dd), it was sunny, blue skies but there was a [STRIKE]biting[/STRIKE] bracing wind so felt very cold but was a lovely springlike feeling.
We came back here and pigged out on snacky things for lunch so didn't feel like eating for hours. It was 7pm when we finally had our casserole and we were too full for pancakes so we'll have them tomorrow....
I shall sleep well tonightIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
