Migraine came on while I was at work yesterday. I just knew this wouyld happen with dd's birthday party today. I don't feel too bad now, but am at that delicate and sore stage :(

Popped to Ald! and spent £16.56 so went slightly over the budget but am still pleased. Had to pop into the pharmacy for some migra1eve so that was another £5.36.

I shouldn't have to spend too much this weekend. No further spends today (that haven't already been accounted for). Meeting up with a friend tomorrow and going for a long walk then tea with them. At some point I need to get my car to a garage so that could end up really denting my finances but i shall worry about that when it happens :D

Right, must get on with the party food and tidying up.

DD's party was excellent fun. All the girls had a great time and I did too! I might think about something like this for (one of) my 40th celebrations :D. I also managed to liberate a fairly large tub of buttercream to eat later :p

I also managed to get all housework done (including things I hardly ever do) and all the ironing by midday. DD can have a party every week if it means I get that much done :D

My headache stayed at bay till after everyone had gone and then came back with a vengeance last night. It still feels sore but I've taken some tablets, drunk liberal amounts of tea, consumed huge amounts of carbs and am hoping our walk out in the country later will finally see it off.

I'm recording about a dozen Gavin & Stacey's to watch later.

    Crackin'.

Went for a lovely walk with my friend and her daughter. We were out for about 2 hours and it really cleared my head.

Went back to theirs for tea (fajitas and rice mmm) and we even did a bit of car maintenance. Sorted out the pressure on my tyres (should have been 33, was actually 20 ) and checked the oil. I really should know more about my car, unfortunately I don't really have much interest in it and if I'm honest feel a bit self-conscious doing stuff out the front of the house :o

V busy at work today, which is good.

    £1.87 PAD :)

    £4 into the Hedgehog.:)

    Another NSD today :)

Chicken Korma and rice for tea.

Great pole class last night but bashed my foot up a bit. It's fine now. Had a lovely bath with HM sugar scrub.

Was going to have a(nother) slice of dd's birthday cake but decided againist it after watching The Truth About Exercise (which should really have been called The Truth About All The Fat and Sugar You Consume). Still it was food for thought, if you pardon the pun, so i stood up and did a load of ironing instead. :D

    £5.02 PAD today

    £11.20 on OnePoll

Taking advantage of the dry wetaher so off for another run at lunchtime.:T

I've found a nail polish thread! My nails are now a peachy colour - not really my style at all but I've only got about 3 useable nail polishes and tonight it is this one's turn. My nails do look nice and natural though.

I will be popping to town on Sunday afternoon so I'm going to treat myself then :)

It is a beautiful day here and I've just done my 4th run of the week. Feeling nice and smug now.

£5 PAD :) This is becoming strangely addictive.

I have been super efficient this evening. I have hoovered upstairs and down and the second load of washing is on. I'm trying to get ahead of myself because we've got loads to do this weekend.

I've just de-scaled the kettle with vinegar but it's a thankless task. The water is so hard round here. I 'hoiked' a load of the chalky flakes out but I don't think it's made a great deal of difference except the kitchen now reeks of vinegar :wall:

I've got to take my car into the garage tomorrow as the noise is getting worse and I'm sure there was a feint burning smell too. I have £205 left in my account so I am praying it doesn't come to more than that. It will be a relief to get it sorted anyway.

That's it I think. Going to catch up on some of the diaries, then I will lounge on the sofa and eat chocolate :D
