Glad she's feeling better...poor little thing, what a waste of her weekend:(
Good luck with the ebay things ending - I find it quite exciting, watching the watchers add up then watching bidding at the end...yes, yes, I should get out more;) I have 6 things on there now with 5 scheduled to go on tonight. I paid the 6p each to schedule them as I had the time this morning to list them but didn't want my items ending at 10am on a weekday...that wouldn't be good:D
How much has your hedgehog got in him now?I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
It has been a real waste of a weekend, especially after last week's wasted weekend too. Main thing is she is on the mend. I knew she was feeling better because she had a complete strop at me when we were doing up the pass the parcel for next week and had to use 'new baby' paper as all our other offcuts were't big enough.
Do you have the eBay app pixie? I love just playing around with that. The Paypal app is good too. I paid last weekend to schedule mine because it wasn't doing it 'live' so i just thought what the heck.
Not sure how much the hedgehog has in him now. £40 if I'm lucky? Thing is I rarely carry much cash around with me so I'm not likely to get change very often. I'm just forgetting that money's there for now. i might have a count up at Easter.
Mum and Dad's team came 15th out of 19th in the quiz last night :rotfl:Mum reckoned we could have come about 8th if I'd been there, which I wouldn't have been happy with
Call the Midwife on soon. I'm loving thatIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I've just sold 2 coats :j.
Jobs to do:-
Parcel up coats
Clean dd's school shoes
Whizz round and tidy up
Take make-up off
Bed
I've just sorted out the finances (or lack of them). It all looks pretty grim but CB and CM should go in this week plus I have all my ebaying money still in my paypal account and I have the cash from the cinema trip (that never was). Not too grim after all then
Ooh another £2 going in the hedgehog too! It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Three ebay parcels sent off. I wish the post office had a loyalty card
DD has gone to school today but is complaining of a sore throat. She's not got a temperature or aching and I haven't had a call from school so far today. She is full of beans otherwise. I've booked a docs appointment for tomorrow but if she's ok tonight I will cancel it.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Hi Poles - hope you and dd are ok this week, and she recovered:D
I think it's her birthday today...so if I'm right, Happy Birthday to little Poles:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Thanks, it was her birthday yesterday but she was still being sick on WednesdayI kept her off Thursday and yesterday but I had to make a decision on her party as I would have felt awful if any of her friends had come down with the same thing. So I cancelled it. I also cancelled our meal out that we always have on her birthday
. Party is now postponed till 25th and our meal will be whenever I can fit it in.
She's much better now thank goodness.
We still have no snow here but we have been on snow watch all day. We've stocked up with food (£28.55 in Ald1 and £13 in sainsbugs) in case we get snowed in. Today we have been domestic goddesses and made bread and chocolate chip muffins. The house has smelt wonderful. Tomorrow we are hoping to go to the cinema that got cancelled last week. If it snows overnight we won't go and will stay in and make butternut sqaush soup instead.
Today I've hoovered all through, changed the beds and done the ironing. DD is watching Take Me Out. I think I'll catch up with all the diaries and have a nice bath, then when DD's in bed I'm going to watch Stella that I missed last night because I zonked out on the sofaIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Did you manage to get to the cinema today?? Or did you get lots of snow? We have none...it rained last night and it all went...boo, guess I'll be going to work as usual tomorrow;)
Your poor little girly, what a week she's had - glad you've been able to reschedule the party, she can look forward to that now - she'll be celebrating it on my birthday:o:o (But shhhh, we're ignoring that day;))
You win again on the food shopping spends...I'm no good at it, though I don't feel I buy loads of rubbish...hmmm:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Yes we woke up to about 5 inches of snow yesterday morning so cinema was cancelled and we were at the park by 10.30am building a snowman. I would rather have stayed in the warm watching the TV and eating the muffins we made the day before but did my parental duty and actually quite enjoyed it in the end. We stayed until dd said her hands were too cold and she wanted to go home.
Sold another DVD and 2 pairs of trousers on ebay :T
I have diarised your birthday pixie - you can't keep that one quiet...:DIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I am getting really !!!!!! off with the after school club. I've just rung them up to find out how much credit I've got (their booking form doesn't take it into account so you could go on paying all year when you should have a bit of a discount but that's another gripe) and she's told me I owe them £22 . That doesn't even equate to a complete number of sessions (1 session = £9.75) so there must be something wrong. Also because their booking form is so sh1te the last couple of times I have filled in the form I have scanned it over to them then asked them how much I owe once any credits have been taken off and they have taken the payment over the phone. There must be something wrong their end. She is emailing my account over to me. It just infuriates me that they are so disorganised. I haven't got last year's cashbook with me today either so I am going to have to wait until tonight before I reconcile it.
AND STILL NO CHILD MAINTENANCE :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
