Ah I loved Just Seventeen:D I'd love to see some old ones again!
Spooky about the date though. I was a mere 15yr old then, mad about curiosity killed the cat and a-ha:rotfl:

How do you make chicken chasseur? Sounds yum, wonder if my picky eldest would enjoy it?!

It does make interesting reading. There is a lot about A-Ha in this issue!

I don't do chicken chasseur very often but I am cheating and using one of those powdered mixes - Ald1 do them for about 25p! We used the chilli one last night and it was lovely.

After yesterday's very slow day my migraine has almost gone and I am raring to get on with things now.

I have a friend coming round for coffee at 11 so before then I need to dry my hair and get dressed. I want to clear the bathroom of all the half used bubble baths and creams that we aren't going to use up and sort all the laundry into a manageable ironing pile (is there such a thing?)

I feel a bit sorry for dd because she complained that it was a wasted weekend but TBH I couldn't have gone anywhere yesterday. I really can lose a couple of days when I have a migraine. I've had this since 3pm Friday :(

Need to squeeze in a trip to the tip and supermarket later too.....

So, we are going to go to the massive shopping centre a few miles away with my sister and nephew and have alook round for birthday present ideas (it's dd's birthday beginning of next month). That in itself could easily start up another headache

I have 2 bids on ebay items and quite a lot of watchers on everything else finishing today. I've a stack of stuff I want to list later too.

I managed to get everything done and also managed to bake the worst loaf ever in the breadmaker. Must have used too much fat or liquid because it looked really wet instead of doughy and I've just taken it out of the machine and it has a sunken middle. Bin fodder :D

Ebay has been rubbish tonight saying it can't upload photos and to try later. I think it's a ploy to stop people taking advantage of the free listing - cos that saves LOADS of money :rotfl:

Just sold a pair of disney shoes for £6 and they have paid already. Will parcel them up ready to go off tomorrow.

Spends today £7 on EPO in H & B and £5.50 in M's on milk, pasta, etc and £1.99 in M&S on cupcakes

Need to get to bed early(ish) tonight. My head still feels sore :( (but at least my house is decluttered :D).

I've just been working my money out in honour of tomorrow's payday and I think I am actually saving too much :rotfl:Basically after everything has come out I am back to zero again . I am going to revise my figures. i think I can get away with £35 p/w for food, so that is a saving and maybe I can save a bit less towards the holiday this month only.

I also have to buy party food this month for DD's birthday party but I reckon I can be fairly frugal there if I do a list first rather than just panic buy when I get to the supermarket. I don't think i need to go too mad. If they're all going to making cakes and nibbling at icing all afternoon they might not be that hungry at the end of it and anything left over I can have for my tea that night too :D

Of course if my child maintenance goes in then none of this will be a problem.

Off to do the bank account shuffle.....

Pole class tomorrow so I need to epilate my legs. The more I do it the less time it takes. I want to watch Superscrimpers and the Lynda la Plante thing tonight too.

Loaf mk II is in the BM. It looks much more promising than last night's.

Just realised I need to get a cake sorted for dd . I'm playing around with the idea of buying a victora sponge and icing it myself. No wonder I get headaches....

I don't think I like this new forum - it's gone all skinny. I will have to investigate how to get stretchy width.

Great pole class tonight but I must do better. In fact if the teacher had to write a report I'm sure she would say 'polesalot must try harder'. But I managed quite a few newish things (well, things I've half-heartedly attempted in the past) and I really like the girls in this class so I'm going to put more effort in. It's pointless otherwise, a waste of money.

I've had a nice bath, sugar scrubbed and OCM'd. Half my nails have broken so I have cut them down and will put a nice turquoise nail varnish on. It's all i can manage tonight. I feel shattered.

Crossing fingers for more maintenance tomorrow :D

    :D

If you go here and scroll right to the bottom you can set it to 'new masthead, stretchy'...I've done it, I didn't like the squashed-up-ness either:D
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Yep done it, much better. Also I thought they would modernise the rest of the forum screen too. It doesn't match at all either, like the top bit is all modern and the bottom bit old-fashioned. Also the colours don't match either - pastel green with the stronger colours at the top. I've done a course in interior design - I know my colour wheel and what goes together and why (and why not) :D

    No CM today. Tomorrow maybe.....
