Yayyy go poles with the ebay listings:beer: I find it addictive (yes, I'm a sad a$$), but the more I list the more I want to list, I find myself looking about for stuff:D
I withdrew £88 from paypal for my recent sales...not bad. That could kick-start the iPad mission....;););)
Good idea with the 1 item a day - I often wait til I have loads then I put it off as I haven't got time to do it all. I have a nice pair of dd1's t0pshop jeans to list that she doesnt like now, but wherever I take a photo of them the nice camel colour justlooks really washed out - I must get a better pic first!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Yes this is it, the more I list the more I want to sell. I just love the iPhone app too seeing the watchers etc. I think I will just take all the photos now from my phone then list them when I'm watch TV or something. Feels like less of a chore then.
£88 - super!
Thinking of music magpie for my CDs too . I've got stacks I don't listen to.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

A quick read of these forums reveals this lot ^^^ to be a lot of hassle and a bit devious. Might just chance my arm and sell on ebay. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I've given up with the idea of selling the CDs. Seems a lot of aggro for very little return.
I have on the other hand just listed 4 DVDs on eBay :j and I did it by using the scan function. Nice and easy.
I'm sure once I clear out from under my bed at the weekend I'll find a few other bits to sell.
I'm going to go to bed now. This will be the first night this week I've gone up before 11pm. It would help a lot if I didn't pop on here every night...

I thought I'd get some maintenance but it hasn't gone in . I hate the way the CSA is so very hit and miss. It should go in next week but won't feel so good as if it had gone in today as I get paid on Tuesday....could really have done with it today. Never mind, I suppose it will feel like a bonus when I do get it.
Weigh-day today and I lost just 1lb but this took me up to my 7lb target for JanuaryI was amazed because I had 3 pieces of cake on wednesday and loads of sandwiches yesterday in the meeting (breaking my 'no bread during the week' rule). I did weigh myself whilst naked and didn't even put body lotion on in case it weighed me down too much :rotfl:
£2 PAD to barclaycard
Going to go for a run today but it is just so cold. I am half hoping that it will start peeing down with rain by middayIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Well it was raining by the time I got outside but I thought I might as well get on with itIt was very cold and windy and I'm sure it was sleeting a bit but I'm really glad I went.
Food shop tonight and have a non-existent food budget  All in all I don't think I've done at all badly with my money this month. It does seem an eternity ago that I got paid. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Got a headache yesterday afternoon and I've still got it now. I've taken some strong painkillers and they've taken the edge off it but I've had to do everything slowly today - not good for my mass clearout plans.
Anyway, it's blowing a gale here which means going outside with (what I think is now) a migraine is a definite no-no so we have had a lazy day. Not hoovered or changed beds but starting my clearout in slow motion....
So far:-
[STRIKE]Clear out under my bed, sort into rubbish, charity, tip, ebay[/STRIKE] Done
Ditto my wardrobe Why did I say I'd do this????
[STRIKE]Ditto scary under stairs cupboard
[/STRIKE] Done (and hoovered out too)
Sort out tin foil cupboard
Get a decent toolbox together
So far so good. Under my bed was mainly paperwork from all my various house purcs and sales over the years. I never know what to keep! I have managed to get rid of loads of the carp so now have space to keep the important stuff.
Purchases next week must be a couple of those underbed drawers on wheels just to keep everything in a bit of order.
I must admit I am quite enjoying this. Just knowing where things are is a huge bonus
Spends yesterday was just £33.53 in Ald1. More than I have left in the grocery busget but that does include quite a lot of meals and some toiletries/cleaning stuff. I need to get a few more bits in one of the big4 - £10 should more than cover it so if I withdraw the cash with any luck I'll get some £2 coins in the change to go in the hedgehog.
I'll be back later with this weeks meal plan.
Off to do the tinfoil cupboard (NB that sounds like I have a huge selection of tinfoil....:rotfl:) It's actually tinfoil, clingfilm, candles, carrier bags, bin bags, greaseproof paper. I call it tthe tinfoil cupboard because that's what always falls out first every time I open the doorIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
[STRIKE]
Sort out tin foil cupboard
[/STRIKE] DONE - Didn't realise I had so many binbags
Meal plan
Saturday - Chilli and rice
Sunday - Pie, roast potatoes & veg
Monday - salmon pasta
Tuesday - at mum's
Wednesday - scampi, chips and sweetcorn
Thursday - chicken chasseur & rice
Friday - curry
I must try and vary the midweek meals a bit. Thing is, these ones fit in with us and are easy to cook from scratch.
DD is upstairs doing the dusting and polishing for me bless herIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Just been going through my old school work (I said I needed a good clearout
) and amongst my coursework notes is a copy of Just Seventeen magazine dated 21 January 1987.....how weird is that? Exactly25 years old. How strange that today, not yesterday or tomorrow, but today is the day that i should come across that....*insert Twilight Zone music* I even remember buying that one as I think it was the first (of many) that I bought.
It makes great reading though. There is even a knitting pattern :rotfl:quite odd to have that even then - could you imagine a knitting pattern in a teen magazine today??
The photos and fashions are great. Ads for Austin Metro, an article with George Michael talking about one day getting married and having children and AIDS awareness advert.
I wonder if it's worth anything????It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Ah I loved Just Seventeen:D I'd love to see some old ones again!
Spooky about the date though. I was a mere 15yr old then, mad about curiosity killed the cat and a-ha:rotfl:
How do you make chicken chasseur? Sounds yum, wonder if my picky eldest would enjoy it?!I really need to sort out a new signature!0
