  • About 9st4 is the weight when I start to feel lumpy and need to cut down;) I'm 5'4", about 8st10 right now so I'm not too bothered. Since I had the surgery for my Crohn's I can't keep weight on though...it's the sole good thing about it, I eat what I want, it just doesnt stay on:o Mind you, to other people I probably don't eat much - my appetite isn't huge.

I am unfit though and have a right wobbly tummy - I know I should exercise, but just never get round to it - too tired/busy/better things to do:p

I saw the adverts for that 4 bird roast - looks yummy, I'd love to stuff my face with that, enjoy:)
I really need to sort out a new signature!

I think that's what it is with me - if it all starts to feel wobbly I know I need to up the exercise. Could you do stomach crunches? I do 100 every morning on the kitchen floor. They take less than 5 minutes but you have to do them properly otherwise it's pointless.

Am back to pole next week and that will definitely pull my stomach in :D

I read something on here about the 4 bird roast being vile  . Just had to try it though :)

Up and at 'em already :) Have showered, washed hair and had breakfast. DD is still asleep - in my bed - she came in last night after having a bad dream :(. It's been nice sitting down here at this time.

First wash is in the machine :)

    £1.36 PAD :) I now owe less than £1400 :T

    £5.80 (still) on OnePoll.

Will catch up with diaries then clear up, put face on then dry hair. and start tackling my list.

  • Oh you are good - I woke up at 10.30:eek:
I read in bed til 1, but then had a rubbish sleep - was awake between 3.45 and 5...I was just pootling about on my phone until I felt sleepy again. Tonight I will attempt a more normal sleep:o

So I now need to get cracking like you - just having a coffee and catch up...but eeeeeeek, it's nearly 11:eek:

    Ironing done :)

Inspired by Lula-Hula here is a list of things I must do tomorrow:-
    • Clear breakfast bar of [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] paperwork and file away.
    [STRIKE]
    • Clear DD's toybox and fill rubbish bags
    [/STRIKE]
    • Taking advantage of the extra time I have and make trips to [STRIKE]lidl, aldi [/STRIKE]and one of the big 4 for best bargains
    • Trip to town
    • [STRIKE]
    • Clear DD's wardrobe of [STRIKE]summer clothes[/STRIKE] potential ebay sales
    • [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]
    • Clear space in my wardrobe to store rapidly growing present stash
    • [/STRIKE]Trip to tip with (hopefully) loads of rubbish sacks.
That does seem a lot actually. All the better to get up early and get cracking with it all :D

Why is it whenever you need a charity bag none are pushed through your door, then just after you've got rid of loads of stuff you get three?

We now have 3 black sacks for the tip
    Orange sack for DD's school
    Carrier bag for charity shop.

I've bought a new carbon monoxide detector because the batteries had gone on ours. Put up in DD's room (which is where the boiler is) and it's behaving normally so no worries there.

Pizza for lunch then off to the tip, then the town and finally Morrison's for the bits I couldn't get in Aldi and Lidl.

Will be back later to post today's spends.

I'm very pleased with what we've achieved today and DD has written her thank-you notes too :)

Popped to Primarni and bought me some new knickers, a couple of sports bras and a gorgeous fleece blanket for snuggling on the sofa with.

    Got my eyebrows threaded :)

Got the remainder of the shopping in Morrisons including some mint choc chip icecream to have tomorrow night after our curry.

    Total spends today

    B&Q - £23.96
    Lidl - £20.54
Aldi - £17.00 (includes booster seat £8.99 my mum will pay for)
    Morrisons - £7.84
    Primark - £15.60
    Threading - £3.00

That looks like a lot (for me anyway) but we are well stocked up on food now and it all comes from the grocery account anyway. The threading and the primarni stuff came from £40 cash I drew out which includes enough for our takeaway tomorrow night too.

I also got a £2 coin in my change so that has gone in my new hedgehog money box that DD got me for xmas for the laptop fund.

We got back from town at about 4pm and were soaked so we both got changed into our fleecy PJs, snuggled on the sofa and watched The Borrowers and ate some Italian biscuits that i got for Xmas :)

It is absolutely pouring now :(

I seem to have fallen off the MSE wagon :o I knew I couldn't last the whole year...

The Russian Dolls that i bought dd for xmas didn't come apart! Kind of defeated the point of them so we had to take them back to the shop. The manageress managed to prise them open making me look complete;y weedy :o. Because I was feeling lazy I said we'd get Burger King for lunch. This meant using some of the money earmarked for our takeaway tonight so I had to withdraw my last tenner :( Of course we had to go to sainsbugs for it where I bought teabags and some cupcakes. I seriously have no willpower where buttercream is concerned.

This means no more treat money. All food and petrol is taken care of and all bills paid, there is just none left in the fun pot.

Still it could have been far worse - I almost treated us to a complete new set of bath towels
