We have had to say goodbye to our kittens
turns out my dd was allergic to them
. I got their first set of jabs done (we were both sobbing in the vets) and they have gone to my cousin. I'm just so relieved they have gone to someone I know and trust and that they have been kept together.

Ah noooo I'm so sorry to hear that:( Your poor little girly must be so disappointed (and you), what a shame. Will you be able to go visit them if they're now with your cousin?
We had kittens when I was a teen and they did irritate my skin a bit if I got too close but I got used to it. If I visit my mum now both myself and dd2 sneeze and get itchy eyes so we always have to take antihistamines, very annoying.
Hope you're ok:grouphug: (dodgy!)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Thanks pixie. It's been a rotten couple of days. She doesn't seem too bad today. Unfortunately seeing as we are so fed up we've been spending money to cheer ourselves up. Just worked out next month's money and it's terrible! Going to be eating a lot of jacket potatoes I reckon..
I've promised dd a girly day out tomorrow, shopping and lunch. I promised this before I worked out the finances. Just feel so guilty that she feels so upset.
She has a friend round today so we are off out to a soft play area in a little while. The weather isn't that great here so it won't be a shame to stay in.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
oh no
poor you and DD. Hope you will get to visit the kittens and that lunch out goes well.
Like pixie I used to occasionally react to some animals, it's a lot less now and I still haven't figured out why as some are ok.
However this means you'll have to work on the female/ male balance in your life by other methods

Well we had a lovely day out yesterday. We started off with some roller skating - which we both love, think that's going to become our new hobby, then dd did some bungee trampolining. Next we had lunch in TG1 Fridays then we did some clothes shopping for dd. I spent a perfume voucher that I'd got for my birthday and then by this time we only had about £10 left so we spent it on cupcakes in M&S and Waitr0se.
After dinner last night we did our nails. A very nice day all round.
Today we went on a bike ride with my dad. We rode all down the cycle path down the side of the motorway, across the bridge, through the woods then back to the country park then back to mum and dad's house. A loop of about 8 miles I reckon. DD !!!!!ed all the way but I think she enjoyed it
I'm getting used to being saddle sore anyway. No sense, no feeling I guess
Food shop came to a mahusive £65 this week but I am getting it all the bases for meals in this month because I have only allowed a small weekly amount for groceries next month. We have loads of mince, chicken and fish. We seem to eat an incredible amount of fish but I guess that's no bad thing.
Back to the stove now - we must be the only family in the country having chilli tonightIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Wish list
Roller skates
Wireless printer
M&S wedgy shoe boots
Toile de jouey duvet cover
Bathroom towel set
New blinds for whole house
Leather jacket
This is an achievable list of things I would like to buy once my mortgage payment goes down and credit card is paid off (hopefully in October). It's designed to cheer me up during the next very frugal month and also something to look forward to.

Well some of those sound very doable. Have to say I love having a wireless printer, it saves soooo much trekking back to plug in.
