I just have a small amount of ironing to do and then I want to do my nails with my new nail varnish.

First run of the week out of the way

I have ten watchers on my ebay things already.
And the sun has been shining all day :TIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

Got home to find my council tax bill on the doormat. Opened it up with some trepidation but it's stayed the same as last year :T
Have had dinner, epilated legs, cleared up and put dd to bed. I just have a couple of duvet covers and pillowcases to iron - I'll do them whilst watching Pointless that i recorded earlier - it won't feel like ironing then
.
I need to parcel up a present and write a card, then I can sit and watch Scott & Bailey - I really enjoyed the first series.
I'm really impressed with my LD nail varnish. It's been on 24 hours and still no chips :TIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

I have acquired another airer from my mum (I already have two
). This means that when I get carried away with doing too much washing I've actually got somewhere to hang it all.
Now I know how much the council tax is going to be (I'm sure I over estimated it) I'm going to have another look at next month's figures and work out how I'm going to pay for everything as well as a new exhaust. There is still some room for manoeuvre and if my maintenance goes in it should be fine. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

You're probably right. Polesalot is a bit inaccurate now but I don't think Polesforjustonehouraweek has a very good ring to it.
Well weren't you thinking about getting your own pole? I'm not sure how you'd explain it away to any visitors to the house though:
"I've had it a couple of weeks and I was promised a burly fireman would come down it and sweep me off my feet. I think I've been sold a pup...""Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I've just got home after a really great pole class and I've got a speeding ticket  I'm so cross with myself. It's my first one ever. It doesn't mention anything about a fine though? I have a form to fill in and then I can go on a 'speed awareness course' otherwise I'll get the penalty points. I won't get the penalty points if I do the course. I can't believe the course will be free though will it? Anyone know?
It does make me really annoyed though. I was doing 40 in a 30 but the tone of the letter suggests I am some master criminal. They can't catch the prat who goes screeching up and down my road in the small hours though can they?????
On the plus side I've just sold a top on eBug BIN (£8) so that's some extra money in the pot, not that I'll be seeing any of it the way things are going

I've got 3 watchers on a ghastly ornament that finishes in about an hours time. Fingers crossed.

I have filled out my speeding ticket doc and parcelled up my ebug sale so I will whizz off to the post office at lunch time. Not whizz exactly because that's the road I got caught on :rotfl:
Not going for a run today so I will have some more time to go through my projected monthly figures. Two tyres will cost £95.20 including VAT and fitting so that's about £30 less than I had imagined.
I have decided that all this expense is not the end of the world and I am going to sort it all out.
DD and I are going to a cinema thing run by a church in town on saturday. They are showing 101 Dalmations which we have seen before but we can walk in (= no parking costs & exercise) plus we get a drink and a snack in the interval and it's all free :T
On Mother's Day I am having everyone round for my gorgeous slow roasted lamb. I have a bit of a challenge this week too - all food shopping (incl. lamb) for less than £30 :cool:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey
