Hi DC
Hope you are doing ok being its that time again re OH anniversary. My thoughts are with you. Read the earlier banter re Chris Evans. I love Radio 2 , listen to it throughout the day while Im out in my little car working away. I do like Chris Evans what I hear of him in the am. Otherwise I like listening to Jeremy Vine and Simon Mayo, particularly the confession ot 5.40pm and the factoids with Steve Wright in the afternoon. My friend calls me old fashioned as she listens to Radio 1!! I can remember when Simon Mayo was doing the breakfast show on radio 1!!! Anyway DC take care of yourself. My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0 -

I love all of these too. I used to listen to radio 1 until I gave up the tv! which is strange I know but now I listen to 2. and 4 (always listened to 3). I have always enjoyed Chris Evans, just read his autobiography which is great. He once came to my works as a stripogram in the days before he was famous  Simon Mayo is class act.
DC ((((hugs))) and hoping that you find a way to get through the next few days.
How is that job application going? I threw mine in the bin :eek:Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Thanks PAF, doing OK. I know I've said it before but 'going with the flow' is what gets me through. I know you'll find some peace on the 13th.
Also thanks to all of you who PM'd me in my recent absence, you really are a lovely lot
Little bit of news. My workplace 'let someone go' last month. Alarm bells are to be heard faintly in the distance. I've had 12 interviews this summer and it's not happening for me. Until a friend who has a very busy little shop on the high street asked me if I'd be interested in some hours, turns out it's more hours than I currently have a few pence less an hour but a whole new scene for me. An extra £40 a month. So I'm in. Negotiate my leaving period with current boss today.
Wish me luck...DC.

DC - great news. A whole new life just round the corner. See knew there was a reason those interviews weren't working out.
Good luck today. Great to see you back, even if it is only a quick post now and then. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
