After my husband's sudden death, I lost a couple of stone in about as many months. Not really losing any more, as I have a very good and very frightening friend who has whooped my a** about it. :rotfl:

  • I stooped eating gluten 2 years ago when my son was diagnosed with Celiac desease and I have never felt better. There is no going back.

I believe the vast majority of people would feel the same way.

What main foods have gluten in them? Or is that a never ending question? lol

You're right about it being a never ending question. What catches a lot of people out is that sauces have gluten in them as well, using cornflour, etc as thickeners.

This means that the gluten hunt catches you out at so many levels. Think of snacks, sweets, etc. Who would think to look at soya sauce as being a culprit?

I'll have to look out for gluten too then.. see if I can spot any trends in types of food that bloat me or make me have cravings..

Hey Ferrari, long time no speak! :)

I'm just fed up of feeling rubbish, especially in the mornings, feel like I've been hit over the head in the night, or on the bottle lol :p

This morning I woke up and felt 'ok' - for the first time in ages!

lol - six inch - tee hee.. :)

I usually have bread at every meal, cereal for breakfast, bread/pasta for lunch.. then more bread or pasta for dinner.. plus various fatty and carby snack and fizzy drinks.. ewww.. no wonder I felt so bad!

I've now been having scrambled eggs for breakfast, salad for lunch with egg or meat, and for dinner I have meat with veg.. :)

Shopping being delivered tomorrow, so I can cut carbs out completely as I have had a couple of wholemeal pitta breads and jacob's crackers..
