Soft Food Meals

Options
I had dental surgery today and have been told I have to eat soft food for a few days. Nothing crispy or chewy such as crisps, nuts or or meat.

I know there is pasta, soup and rice and mash, but can anyone give me any suggestions/ideas as to what to eat for a few days? I feel pretty drained just now so want something quick, easy and nutritious

Of course I am craving the foods I can't eat:o

my kids love a tin of rice pud with a tined of peaches, previously drained and pureed, mixed in. Mice and soft, and comforting too.

I'm in the same boat as you and so far today I've had a chocolate mini-roll and a packet of aero bubbles. The mini roll is soft and I can suck the bubbles! :rotfl:

I'm just about to have some mashed potato mixed with cheese and might have some rice pud for afters, nice comfort food when you're feeling a bit sorry for yourself.

I feel for you, I had to go into hospital to have 4 teeth out and when I woke up I was starving for something that I couldnt eat, I had lots of nice ice cream through a straw it was very soothing and nothing got stuck in my teeth or the holes that were left there.

I had to do this last year when I had a tooth implant. It was okay actually and I lost loads of weight into the bargain - always a bonus!!!

I survived on yoghurt, scrambled eggs and anything that I could swallow without chewing!. Still had to cook for OH but even roast chicken and all the trimming tastes okay when you liquidize it. I guess for me it's a taste thing! Chocolate was divine (but not a healthy choice) but, hey, a treat is okay when you're suffering!
