Hi guys, adding a spend of 90p today before I forget, as in a weak moment I went down to the staff canteen with some workmates. Swear I am never going there again, the prices have gone up again and the food is not nice enough to warrant paying that much. That 90p was for two slices of toast, one with a butter portion and one with jam (no butter), which I had to toast myself anyway. I could make a whole loaf of toast for that!

Thank you all so much for your birthday wishes! :D

I am having a fab day. The sky hadn't fallen in when I woke up this morning so definitely now taking the view of its only a number! :rotfl:

Had a great text from a dear feiend this morning which claims that 50 is the new 20  as we all live until we're 100!!! :rotfl: So I'm fine with that. :T

Off for a lovely meal out this evening with OH, DD, GD1, Bro and SIL and the celebrations will now continue through to Sunday. So forgive me if at any time I come on here and am a bit tipsy!

Thanks ever so much again. All of you on here have had such a beneficial effect on our lives over the last months it's difficult to put into words how grateful I am. :A

Take care and have a great day yourselves,
    Spigs

Best not tell my OH that, as it would make him a total cradle-snatcher (would make me 14!)

Just been into Superdr*g & they have 4 microfibre cloths for £1 :j
They are all different colours as well, so it will be easy to tell which is for where, I got a box & will let you know if they're any good. :p

    Sorry, it's actually 4 for £1, but still @ 25p each, still a bargain!

I hang my head in shame, i spent £5 on cakes :o i have a friend coming over and i am feeling so tired i could not get the energy together to be organised enough to bake :( On the plus side it is still just about cheaper than if we were to meet in a coffee shop.
Have a gammon joint in the slow cooker, trying out the Nigella receipe! So hopefully dinner will be yummy and dinner for the next two nights are also sorted! Still hoping to stay within budget this month :D thanks for all the ideas everyone! Happy Bday Spiggle, hope you are having a lovely day :D

If it's the ham, cooked in cola recipe, it is divine!

Remember to save the cooking liquer as she has an amzing black bean soup recipe that can be made from it & that is also very yummy! :D
