Once you have Sky+ you'll wonder how you lived without it! As you say you don't go out much, it's justified.
Brilliant Dominos deal - I never think to do things like that! It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

Hi poles:)
Dominos was £16 - 2 of the huge pizzas, wedges and garlic bread...enough pizza for us all for lunch the next day too...was yummy;)
And the Sky hd is fab, I love it and think it's worth every penny - Strictly in HD is just brilliant, all sparkly and bright. My friend has just told me that from next week Holby City will be in HD...oooooh the lovely Joseph will look even more lovely:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Here I am again:o
Ok, well I've had a reasonably good week - only spent on food shopping...which came to £80:eek: But that was a big delivered shop which I only do every 2 or 3 weeks....we have full cupboards and freezer now.
Car had a service and the MOT today - nothing needed doing, MOT passed...very happy. So that was £230 altogether, no tyres needed either which I really did expect.
Meals are all planned up til Sunday. Quiet weekend at home with the girls which will be lovely. I can't wait for half term....am sooo tired! I do have college tomorrow, but I don't think I'll go - I really want to do more of my essay. I started it on Sunday and must get more done. COllege sessions are interesting but often not that relevant to the assignments....with the amount of work I still have to do I think the time would be better spent getting on with that at home.
I have a few of dd2's Nintendo ds games on ebay...none sold yet. I sold a coat yesterday so must post it tomorrow. 2 other things there for sale too.
DD2's decided to give up Guides, which is a shame as they do some fab activities and go to some great places but she has a lot of homework now at secondary and is so tired - in fact she's asleep on the sofa now:o We all need half term! So I guess I save £20 a term, plus all the extra for trips etc.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Pity about DD2 and the Guides. I loved it when I was young but some children do outgrow it.
Good on you starting your assignment, crack on with it tomorrow, when's it due in?
:T on the spending. I know £80 is a lot but it will last and it's money on essentials, not wasted.
Any nice plans for half term?0 -

The essay was due in June:rotfl: As it's one of last year's assignments I just want it out the way - I do have until January in theory though.
Am definitely skipping college today, will just get as much of the essay done as I can. I have a book on it's way from Amazon that I need to use - had it from the library, but someone put a hold on it so had to return it;) At least I know most of the books I buy will resell at quite decent prices. Hopefully the book will arrive today.
Half term - meeting sis and niece for shopping on Monday and bringing niece back until Wed. Will take my 2 to cinema Wed eve, then Thurs their dear father's having them. At the weekend we're off to my sis ... then back to school:D
Better shout at girls to get up...again:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
One of dd2's DS games sold overnight...so £6.50 for her. Must post the coat that sold yesterday too today.I really need to sort out a new signature!0

and why is your light on if you're meant to be working?:p
You know you'll feel good when it's done!0 -
Another game of dd's sold on ebay, as well as a book on Amazon of mine that I forgot was still listed...nice surprise:T Must post them today.
Went shopping yesterday so I bought us lunch, £15. DD1 spent some of her own money on clothes and I bought her a much needed top. I have some undies I bought myself to return.
I've oreder a few bits on Play/ebay for girls for Xmas...a jumper each, books so far. I also have a few bits for other people - must update my list so I know what's left to buy.
I had a tutorial with college tutor last week and I committed myself to getting the essay handed in next Wednesday:eek: I've done about 500 words, the intro so far...so must keep plodding on. My niece is here right now until tomorrow and girls are with their dad on Thurs so there's more time to do it.
Today I'll take the girls swimming if they still fancy it when they all get up. Niece is off tomorrow and in the afternoon I might take my 2 to the cinema seeing as it's Orange Wednesday...not much on though:o
Time to get myself showered and tidy up.
Hello if you're reading by the way - hope all well:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
