I did use large bags for my shopping until recently, when, the assistant said instead of being able to use their own common sense in giving points for large bags (instead of 1 point giving 2 or 3) as they hold much more than carrier bags. The manager, at the store will now only allow 1 point per bag no matter what it's size is. So instead of cluttering the boot of my car with strong heavy bags that will last forever and cut down on the amount I use, I have gone back to flimsy carriers which hold only a fraction to get my points.
Has anyone else experienced this at their store.
At least you still get them! Tesco no longer give green clubcard points for reusing bags in Wales because of the new carrier bag charge brought in by the Assembly.0 -

Redspottedhanky is going down from being 3x the value of the Clubcard vouchers to twice. On 1 December, so if you use your clubcard points for this, do it before then!
Tesco are telling us life is getting less expensive, but not in my book!0
