I've been using AF for about 2 years, I only tend to put in an order a few times a year. I do get tempted by all the cheap biscuits/cakes/crisps etc, so I don't look at these sections anymore and only buy "ingredients" as such - stock cubes, marinades, cous cous etc, my last order was over £40 and delivered free, and has completely filled up my cupboards. My only "treats" were two big bags of jelly crystals as my toddler loves bobbly jelly (as she calls it) and some custard powder as it lasts forever and is very handy to have in the cupboard!0

I've just had my first order and really impressed. I've never really bothered before as thought it was all biscuits and processed carp but I got loads of crazy jack organic stuff - sunflower seeds, dates, cous cous, organic pasta and a box of the nature trail fruit and nut bags which I am fighting the kids for!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I don't think I ever get refunded for out of stock items. There's a note on the invoice but I don't think any money is refunded or credited. What's the current procedure for approved food for this anyone know?:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

whenever I have had missing / damaged items I have just emailled them , and they have given credit against next order without any fuss0 -

It's a bit naughty that you have to contact them before being refunded. I also was given a credit on my account once after a complaint. The credit showed but it wasn't deducted from the total. I thought it may still be there for my next order but it wasn't.
They need to sort out better procedures for these refunds as I for one hate having to chase things up and so will end up buying elsewhere.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
I have ordered from them twice now and the stuff was great. I ordered some sesame oil should have been 3 bottles for £1 but only got two. I told them and they credited the account without a problem. My next order was a couple of weeks later and the credit was applied to the account.
I get things like the dried soup grains, couscous & seasoning. ( although I did find boxes of 24 blocks of oxo for £1 at poundland) but there prices where still cheap too. Got some crisps too which my husband loved. So not too bad. Love having a good little stash in my back room.:-)0 -

If you email sales@approvedfood.co.uk they'll look into the question of your credits/refunds. Alternatively, if you PM me your name and the order number for your last order, I'll ask the CS Dept. to investigate.
If you are due any credit, they will make sure that you receive it.“Official Company Representative

You could have had one of my sesame oils - I must have hit the button a couple of times too many as I now have 6 bottles of the stuff, I only meant to buy 3!!!0 -
