I order loads from them including jars, bottles and other breakables. I had one delivery issue just after they changed over but not issues with broken items. Once I had an item substituted with another (I thought) I phoned up and it turned out to be a packing error. They refunded the amount without hesitation and let me keep the substituted item.

Only had one issue in all the years we've used AF, once received only part of order, when I emailed them, they sent rest of order plus a few bits extra and refunded shipping.
Never had any breakages or spillages either.

it came all there nothing burst send a wee twitter message as theyre system was down but all there very pleased x will order again boys have played with the boxes all morning .

It depends very much on what delivery service your delivery comes from. AF use several different ones . If you are lucky and you get DPD it wil be fine - You get a "real-time" tracking service that shows a map with exactly where the van is , and when it is expected to arrive at your door..
If you get someone else such as "UK mail" then its a random "your parcel will arive at some time this morning".

AF themselves are great - If something arrives broken , or there is something missing just send them a message and it will normally be refunded straight away. Never had any problems with them over past 3 or 4 years

Has anyone noticed the processing of orders slowing down? I ordered 4 days ago and my order is still "Being Processed". It hasn't even moved to being picked yet. Half the items in my order will be gone by the time they go to pick it.

It did used to be really slow to taking up to 2 weeks to be delivered and then suddenly it speeded up to orders being received the same week of order and now it's gone really slow again.

That isnt how their ordering system works. The items in your order will have been reserved for you , and so cannot be ordered by others in the time between when you order and when they are picked.
