    Morning all! :j

    Hope everybody is well...
We went to B&Q yesterday, and the bathroom suite has now been ordered!! Woohoo!! It will be about 3 weeks before it's delivered..
The only things remaining are the towel rail & the tiles to get...
I just need to give the plans & bathroom software pictures to our fitter tomorrow, so he can plan the work/tools & bits & pieces he will require...
I have bought myself a new Wii game to help with the weight loss...It's the Biggest Loser...Love it!! You get to train with the trainers, Bob & Gillian through circuits, or compete against somebody else, and similar to the real show, you have a weekly weigh in!

Apart from that, not much to tell you about, got quite a busy week ahead..Monday Acupuncture, Tuesday table tennis, Wednesday interview with agency, Thursday Slimming World, Friday ????

Now waiting till the 24th (pay day) so I can work out if we can make an overpayment or not... This will depend if there is anything in our accounts leftover from all that xmas spending, and if Quidco has paid out by then or not...

    Have a great Sunday everybody!

Just so I know what I'm not listening to, would that be the £8.99 or £18.99 one on Amazon :o

    Dear MFW'ers :j

Can I please pick your brains?? On Billy's advice I phoned up Sky to try & blag 6 month half price, but did not manage to get it
However as my landline & calls are still with BT, they mentioned I could save £9 a month (£108 a year ) if I swithched those to Sky..
Any disavantages to having landline & calls with Sky??

Thanks in advance for your wise words!

    Morning all!

A good victory last night at table tennis in the local derby (7-3)! It really cheered me up! I won my 3 games!! Woohoo!!!! :j

Just waiting for the final plumber quote, which I should get this morning.. B&Q called yesterday to say they could deliver the goods early February...So with a bit of luck we should get the bathroom done by the end of February :p

Am finishing work early today, so I can get to the recruitment agency by 5 in town... Hopefully they will have some good jobs lined up for me... other agencies have been in touch, so things are moving "slowly" but in the right direction...:T

Then tomorrow, back for the weigh in at Slimming World... I am hoping for a good loss, as I have been really good this week, and followed the plan to the letter, and exercised a fair bit too (table tennis & Biggest loser workout on the Wii)..:A

Just have to get through today, looks like another busy day...:(

    Have a good day everybody!!

    Cheers

    Hi Froggy :)

Re Sky, we found them fine with our landline until they starting putting the price up every six months after our fixed deal ended (we had all three - broadband, phone and tv) To be fair every time they put the price up we'd complain and get it down a little again but it was just too much hassel in the end. We're now with BE for interent, BT for phone and Freesat for the TV.

Don't forget to post a piccie of your new bathroom when its done! :)

    Good luck at Slimming World

    Hi babybakey! :j

I am glad my diary has inspired you! Woohoo!! Just small OP as regularly as possible, and you will see your mortgage tumbling down.. It's very rewarding to see the figure go down on a regular basis!!
I will probably make another small OP next week, once I get paid.. It might be very small, but even if it was £1, I would still do it, as the bank can't charge me interest on money that I have already paid off!!

Good luck on your journey, I will follow your progress!

    Cheers
