    Hi Froggy :)

Re Sky, we found them fine with our landline until they starting putting the price up every six months after our fixed deal ended (we had all three - broadband, phone and tv) To be fair every time they put the price up we'd complain and get it down a little again but it was just too much hassel in the end. We're now with BE for interent, BT for phone and Freesat for the TV.

Don't forget to post a piccie of your new bathroom when its done! :)

    Good luck at Slimming World

    Hi SmlSave! :p

thanks for the info re Sky, I am a bit torn on this issue, so will leave as it is for the time being.. I am sure I can find other ways to reduce outgoings in the meantime...

Don't worry, I will post before/after pictures for the bathroom... Bathroom has been ordered at B&Q (should be delivered in a couple of weeks), and we are off tiles shopping this weekend...

How is SmlSave bump doing?? Not long to go now... make sure you relax as much as possible!

Exciting re: new diary and recriutment agency too- lets hope they get something good for you!
well done on the wt loss too- must take a leaf out of your book as to how you are motivating yourself as Im lacking that (and willpower! ;) ) at the moment!

    Hi TYO

Exciting times indeed.. I had the appointment with the recruitment agency on Wednesday, it went ok, but I was not that impressed by their services though... We will see, if anything positive comes out of it, then its a bonus, if not, then no worries...
I have two other agency appointments, one on Monday night, and one on Thursday night, and I am also waiting to hear about a possible interview on Thursday or Friday...

Concerning weight loss, I was at the weigh in last night, and I have lost 2lbs this week... So thats now a total of 2 stones 1lb in 11 weeks!! I am well chuffed with that result... Feeling much lighter... A little way to go yet, but I should hit my target by the end of February / beginning of March if I stay on track... The plan is easy to follow, I highly recommend it...

Hope you are feeling much better TYO?

    See you soon

LOL...:p Glad all is going ok.. Time will fly by..You are very lucky... OH & I have been trying for a baby for more than 5 years now, but with no success :( we have had 2 rounds of IVF on the NHS, and have one left.. We have both started acupuncture to see if it helps or not.. It is heart breaking at the moment...especially when the doc comes out saying: "there's nothing wrong with you both, its just unexplained infertility"...

    Will follow your progress closely..

    Afternoon all! :j

Called NRAM this morning to get updated figures for our mortgage (see signature below), as they stopped sending updated figures with the OP confirmation.. Now I have to call to request the paperwork..

Also had a whinge, as if you are an NRAM customer, you are unable to see your mortgage figures online.. They are "working on it" (they have been doing so for the last 4 years at least )... Come on NRAM, get a grip, even my grandma can text and use email, and she is well over 80 yo!!!!

    Anyway, rant over...sorry...

Nice to see the unsecured loan "officially" under £10K..We are making everything we can to get rid of it this year... Any "potential" pay rise from the new job I am hunting for would go towards the OP's, so that would definitely help as well..

We had the plumber around to quote for a new boiler last night, in anticipation of getting the kitchen refitted later on this year..

I have dropped OH off in town, so she can go to the hairdresser, and then do the bits of shopping she needs.. I stopped at the butcher (yummy :p) on my way back...

Now just sat watching the footy (will do the hoovering at half time :rotfl:), then wait for the Tesco delivery...

    Have a grea weekend!

  • Hey Froggy!
Sounds like you are feeling good for the healthy eating (and glad to hear chocolate can be included! :rotfl:) I dont have much to lose but definitely could do with eating healthier (or just less sweet stuff!)
sorry to hear about the fertility issues, I know the guy I see for accupuncture has had great sucesses with fertility so sounds like a good idea to keep at it! ...easy to give anecdotal evidence of people it has worked for but undoubtedly so hard to be going through it yourselves :(
hope whoever team you were supporting on the footie won! ;)
