Sounds like you are feeling good for the healthy eating (and glad to hear chocolate can be included! :rotfl:) I dont have much to lose but definitely could do with eating healthier (or just less sweet stuff!)
sorry to hear about the fertility issues, I know the guy I see for accupuncture has had great sucesses with fertility so sounds like a good idea to keep at it! ...easy to give anecdotal evidence of people it has worked for but undoubtedly so hard to be going through it yourselves
hope whoever team you were supporting on the footie won!

Thanks for your message.. I am looking forward to acupuncture tomorrow.. Its still nice to hear about other people successes as it spurs us on.. Hopefully soon it will work out for us too...
Cheers

Hi all! :j
Acupuncture last night was great .. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep on the treatment table.. She must be doing something right.. I sure needed the treatment, as I have had a few very stressful days at work.. It seems to have calmed down now..
We have had our annual assessments, and I pulled through with an "exceed expectation" marking...
I am not getting excited, its unlikely to lead to promotion or a massive pay rise..
I met another recruitment agency on Monday, and the guy I met was great.. He fully understood what I was about, and the kind of job/company I was looking for..:T Hopefully he will come back soon with some exciting opportunities..
MFW wise, looks like we are going to be able to send our first 2011 OP, as soon as OH & I can sit together to check this month figures..(she has been away in Birmingham, and is in London today, and is away tomorrow & Friday (though I can't remember where))
I won't be going for my weekly weigh in tomorrow night as I am being taken out for lunch by my bosses, and I really doubt it would be a good idea to hit the scales that day.. My bosses don't tend to eat salad or healthy food at all.. I will go back next week though..
Am off shortly to table tennis..
Have a great evening!
Cheers

Hey Froggy
I hope the accupuncture works for you ... its amazing what it can do I was certainly very sceptical when I started it but has worked wonders for me for health issues nothing else would make a differnece to!!
Well done on the imminent OP and the slimming world... I might join up to something like that if I still lack the motivation to lose wt myself - I always find other people motivate me more than I do by myself...although only got 7-10lb to lose but it seems to be going nowhere!
Great news on recruitment agency hope they can find you something that suits you - thats another avenue I need to try in my job hunt! glad you have had some success with it!0 -

accupunture sounds really nice
esp if you can fall asleep during it!
I have four 'world' (as apposed to internet) friends that have fertility problems too, one couple are now starting to go down the adoption route. Why is it that the nicest people have bad luck? I know you're nice FroggyCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Football is indeed a mad world... I follow a couple of teams but I am not too mad about it..
I know some people that have postponed their wedding as it clashed with a football game they wanted to go to / watch..That is bonkers!

There's a specific thread about Slimming World on MSE - see below

As you have only a few pounds to lose, its probably not beneficial for you to attend a class, but maybe follow their rules for a few weeks might work wonders...??
I am meeting another recruitment agency in the next hour, so i will see if they have anything exciting for me...
how is your job hunt going?

bless ya froggy - dont give up , Im a big believer that family is what you make for yourself and there are other options out there too...a couple of my friends have been through the adoption process which, whilst not without some challenges, has worked out well for them..
thanks for the SW link - Ill have a look , be good motivation for me not to have to pay for classes either!! I think a lot of it is eating rubbish through stress/boredom so I need to cut that out!! generally I am able to eat quite healthy the rest of the time! do need to up the exercise tho!
job hunt slightly slow at the moment ...have been lazy with it this week ..need to do some proper trawling through this weekend, make a list of agencies I can go to as well ...0
