Glad the masterplan fund is still growing...as you say, every little helps.

Any news on that Beef Bourguignon? Be just the thing for this weather (left overs make great pies too...)

Any more appointments with the osteopath?

    MCI

    Morning MCI :j

The beef bourguignon will probably have to wait till the weekend as I need to stop at the butcher..
I was at the osteopath last night, the left handside of my back now feels so much better..The right side is pretty stiff still.. Next appointment is Thursday after work..

I have received my CC bill this morning.. Looks like there was some overspend on food/entertainment this month, however I only used 2/3rd of my petrol budget.. I will have to review my budget and be stricter to myself when it comes to bringing breakfast & lunches into work.. I have ordered myself a smoothie maker from Amazon so that should be it for breakfast going forward, and hopefully will help with a healthier option for breakfast..

Work wise, end date for my contract is mid April, with a get out clause of mid March if needed.. The recruitment agencies have started waking up and more jobs are coming forward..

House wise, we have had another viewing on Saturday and it sounds like they were pleased with the property and are considering putting an offer in.. I will believe it when I see it..

    Cheers

Remember LP, a frozen pitch or a game called off is NOT an excuse to go down the chippy!
I had ham and cheese on toast instead :T

But next week definitely has fish & chips written all over it :rotfl:

Having a nice run of viewings it seems, the right one will come along soon. lets hope its the latest one.

    Evening all :j

I have managed to get hold of a free copy of Iworks 09 for the Mac, saving about £20, and that means I don't have to wait to be in work to type letters, amend CV or work on spreadsheets anymore..

I have also received & paid for my annual car tax, thankfully I had put money aside to cover it, but £130 still hurts..

Also received the two cinema tickets from Mr T to go & see War Horse next week.. Now I just need to find a voucher for a local restaurant so we can go & have a bite to eat afterwards..

Also a letter from the tax man with a GIGANTIC cheque of £10.01 :rotfl: there should be more to come but I don't know if it will go through payroll in tax year 2011-2012 or if I will get a cheque in April this year.. I am only expecting another £80 odd..

I have managed to get to payout quickly on Superpoints, its great and so easy to use.. If anybody is interested, please PM me and I will send you a link..As part of the referral you also get a bonus..:D

I am off to the pub to see a friend for a catch up tonight and have an appointment at the osteopath tomorrow after work..

My ping pong team won on Monday night and qualified for the semi final of the cup..am very proud of them..just gutted I can't be part of it..:(

Job wise, it seems to head in the right directions as more calls from agencies have been received today.. Hopefully it will materialise into interviews and job offers soon so I can tick this issue and move on to the next one..

    Cheers

Everything sees to be looking up for you -it's about time. Well done with superpoints, it's a very easy little earner.

    Hiya Froggy,

You probably do this anyway but if it helps, I save my tax money every month, so start putting £15 away each month in a pot, starting end Feb. It won't be missed as much as putting that large amount aside and this time next year you will have that tax disc money straight away and a little bit extra for something else. :D

Best of luck with any job offers that come along too.

    Hi Ally :D

I do have a "car account" where I put money aside for car tax, insurance, service & repairs.. But it still hurts when I have to use it.. It wasn't a surprise though..

Hope you are well? I have been reading your diary with interest..Keep posting, we are all here to support you! :T
