I remember you said recently you were trying to cut down on some spending, and you were thinking of getting a smoothie maker so you could take shakes into work for breakfast. Wondered how that was going? Also wondered if you happened to like porridge? We eat this for breakfast and love it, it is very economical as you can get a big pack of oats relatively cheaply, and it keeps you full for ages. We enjoy ours with honey, milk, and sometimes some mixed seeds/dried fruits if we've picked them up on offer at the health food shop. You may not like porridge of course ... but thought I'd suggest it.
Hi PCG
I did buy the smoothie maker, it was a bargain too.. and I ma trying to stick to it 4/5 times a week.. Porridge is not really my thing though..:o Thanks for the suggestion..

Morning all :j
£10.01 added to the Masterplan Fund from the taxman refund..
I now need to find other ways to raise money to feed the Masterplan Fund.. I have an old laptop I need to get rid of, as well as books, DVD and a few board games..
I was at the osteopath last night, and the swelling on the disc has gone down a lot and there's not as much damage as previously thought.. However the muscle around that area is very weak.. Therefore I need to do some specific exercise (swimming, pilates, stretching..) in order to rebuild that area..
Have a great day

Thanks LP i'll try out that laptop site, we have 2 here! Do you need to wipe hard drive before sending?
Board games might be trickier to offload due to size/weight. Do you have a local selling page on FB? I use mine all the time.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

I don't know if it is policy to wipe the hard drive but I would definitely suggest it. A full format is the best for your own security you never want to hand over a phone or computer with any chance of your personal security being compromised.

Evening Froggy, glad to hear your back is on the mend
Your MP signature is looking great, not long now until it starts with a 3 :j
Did you know M&S do a service for re-cycling electrical items for cash? I've not used themself but have had a peek at the website and it looks straight forward enough
