Tesco kitchen appliances are supplied by CDA (www. cda. eu).
Just to add: MarkII only supply bathrooms to Wickes, not kitchens...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

pleased i came across this, just starting to think about a new kitchen and surprise surprise when i searched tescos came near the top. think i will avoid them now'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

MarkII are desperate for Tesco Kitchens to take off. They used to supply MFI with bathrooms, have just (obviously) lost Dolphin, are losing the Wickes to order bathrooms business (going to do it themselves).
Redundancies are looming and things are not looking good for them. Their service has improved but still leaves quite alot to be desired when problems occur. The main problem is lack of product knowledge amongst the people you talk to on the phone. They often struggle to resolve problems quickly.
If you buy a Tescos kitchen, hope that you get a salesperson who cares and that you can go back to to help resolve any problems that may arise. If you have that and a good fittter their prices are keen and you may well a good experience. If not, avoid!0 -
Hi ave read reviews and still not sure. Is it worth taking a chance? Had a kitchen fitten 6 years ago(MFI) still looks good, but just extending kitchen. Decisions, decisions.:(0

I've just had my new Tesco kitchen installed and I have to say I'm thrilled. From the first contact to the last day of fit has been wonderful. Knowledgable staff and hassle free process.
I opted for their 18mm soft close kitchen as they do both but to be honest it was only about £300 cheaper to have 15mm so personally don't think it's worth it. I was told they now only stock 15mm for people that may be on a tight budget etc. So I guess that's fair. My kitchen came with a 15 year guarantee, 5 year appliance guarantee, lifetime sink guarantee and 5 year tap guarantee. They now only do a fully fitted service with their own contracted fitters.
My price came in at £6500 fully fitted including vat. B&Q (15mm) was £7700 and homebase £8200.
The units do come straight from their distribution centre marktwo in Bolton as many people have already mentioned. My dealings with everyone there was nothing but professional. My project manager was very helpful.
I would 150% recommend these guys to look after your kitchen. I am very happy indeed. :-)0 -
You paid £6.5k for a 15mm kitchen. They saw you coming.0

The op said he opted for a 18mm soft close?0

I had Tesco man come round for a measure & quote. Not impressed. I must admit I am a tricky customer but whilst I was harping on about durability and physical construction, which I care about, he was trying to sell me based on looks which I am not fussed. 25 year guarantee but given the problems on this forum trying to get things sorted, I don't think the guarantee would be worth much. I don't think he did a good job in trying to sell me a kitchen due to misunderstanding my needs.
Trying out a bespoke joiner, probably twice the price of Tesco man but I have more confidence in him and he answered all my questions0 -
I am still in the process of having my Tesco kitchen fitted. I've had problems with them right from the start. Nobody communicates with anyone else with any kind of cohesion or efficiency. The project manager has been next to useless and when you call you never get the same person and they never call you back. They also deliver all the wrong things and don't seem to check the design that was signed off. The free fitting is hardly free as for every cut they make they want paying extra and as they use independent fitters you have no quality control. Today I saw a Tesco kitchen inspector and I'm hoping that my extensive snag list can be resolved without having to replace my very pricey corian work top. Do NOT use Tesco's kitchens whatsoever. They are beyond useless.0

Tesco Kitchens are, according to their website, licenced by Tesco. The are operated by Mark Two Distributors who were, as far as I remember, the supplier to MFI of the four "Bs" of bathroom porcelain. In my only dealings with them, they were not helpful and I had to get MFI's Company Secretary involved before I received satisfaction. Having said that, their products were of reasonably good quality and have lasted.0
