  • Evening Padders!!

Quick question...How do you deal with people that never stump up the cash for the things they ask you to get them from the shop?

If I go out for a wander down the shop at lunchtime, my boss always asks me to get him a bar of chocolate (one of the £1 bars) but never gives me the money back. I would have minded once or twice but now it seems like everytime I leave the office. I've tried telling him that it's gone up in price, I've handed over the receipt when I give him the choc and I've asked him outright if he's ever going to pay for it but he just laughs and brushes it off as a joke.

He's been away for a few weeks and it was his 1st day back today and he's at it again...already! I know £1 isn't much but I must have wasted £10-15 on bars of choc or bottles of juice for him in recent weeks...I don't want to do it anymore :o

How about the word "no !!". No explanation. No excuses. Just plain old "no !!".
Alternatively you could type out and print off an invoice and add your labour charge.

  • PAD of £200.84 today for my van/tools loan. Only two (or is it three?) payments left on that one. I got a special internet loan rate of 5.7% on that one. Can't see anyone getting a rate like that these days even though LIBOR and interest rates are much lower.

Thanks euro, I'm ok, just sad. :( I posted about it on my diary. :(

    Hope shred went well. :D

Better than expected thanks. I actually did better at the cardio than I thought I would, and worse at the strength exercises, mainly cos of the positions she has you in. My legs need to build up a lot first cos I just can't hold them that long yet! :rotfl::rotfl:

OH was pretty good though. He didn't laugh as expected, he actually encouraged me when I started to whinge that I couldn't do it and is now considering doing it himself once a week - so long as I don't watch! haha. He'll get embarassed apparently! Ahhh.

Everything hurts! Even lifting up the cup of tea to my lips hurts! :rotfl::rotfl: But, on the plus side, I had the best night's sleep in ages - really deep, I feel good for doing it, and it's good for my skin too - all that circulation pumping and sweating out the toxins!

The thought of doing it again tonight though - scary as hell! I don't know if my muscles will coorperate! :rotfl:

OK, I'm off to check out your diary honey.

    xxx

    More hugs!

    xx

Can someone please post the link to weezl's website for feeding a family cheaply? I seem to remember that there are a lot of healthy recipes on there and am on a very reduced fat diet for the foreseeable future.

    Thanks!

Morning all - STILL no PAD - SORRY.

If push comes to shove its pay day friday so will start again - though have an expensive 2weeks at the start of September for work so will need to put a lot aside - I will get it all back but need to pay first then claim back - REALLY annoying!

I think you have all convinced me to do shred - will buy on friday when i get paid. have found it for £6.99 on play - anyone seen it cheeper? anyone seeing results?

hope everyone has a great day
