What about that one Mary?February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
At the risk of sounding like you mum, couldn't you wear a vest underneath?
As a lady of "larger bosoms" I find I have to wear a vest under most tops available on the highstreet or people get an eyeful.0 -

:o Still waiting for mechanic to go and collect it tho am getting pi55ed off now!! I appreciate they're busy but I need a car!!!!!!
If the clutch went really suddenly, do you mean it was the cable that broke rather than clutch wear? Normally when a clutch is wearing, you hear the vehicle over revving occasionally (especially if going uphill) and it gets more and more frequent. Once it starts it's best not to delay too long or it can get really bad and won't take too long to get there.
I'm no mechanic but I doubt that the screeching noise was anything to do with it.

Evening all  I had a mini lightbulb this afternoon.....as you do
I remembered that I am paying a debt through wages...and its £25 a month.
I haven't included it so it could be a big pad - anything between £150 and £300....
It's like finding a wadge of cash stuffed down the sofa....:D
Could see my debt go sub-£89k...so exciting! but won't find out till tommorrow.
So £25 pad for now....

PAD today of £200 to OH's evil egg cc.
(Just to say that until last night I thought OH only had 1 cc which he used for emergencies only - no, he has 4 on which he owes a fortune. I won't tell you what I would like to do to him, but it really puts the mokkers on any debt free hopes I have for the near future.... I will stay calm, but it's very hard)
Otherwise I have had a really good day - just keep wanting to cry.0 -
Thank you for all of the welcomes!
And for the suggestions for sources of PAD income!
I have made boring ham sandwiches for work, yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and will put the £2 I would have otherwise spent in the canteen each day into my savings account. Will try to keep this up next week too!
Total = £60 -

I'm not surprised you feel like crying:mad: It's very disheartening when you have had your lightbulb moment and you then find out something like this (think most of us have been there at one time or other).
It might not seem like it now but you will get through this.:A Just have a little 'chat' with him to let him see the error of his ways. Failing that you could always tell him the pad mob will call on him:D Hope everything works out ok for you.
