PAD today of £200 to OH's evil egg cc.
(Just to say that until last night I thought OH only had 1 cc which he used for emergencies only - no, he has 4 on which he owes a fortune. I won't tell you what I would like to do to him, but it really puts the mokkers on any debt free hopes I have for the near future.... I will stay calm, but it's very hard)
Otherwise I have had a really good day - just keep wanting to cry.
Big hugs JayJay!! I don't blame you for being upset, your hubby really needs to get on board. It's not fair for you to be working so hard to clear the debt, only for him to rack up more.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Hope you're all doing well!
And welcome to all our newbies!
I rocked up to the station this morning to find the longest 'Kerststol' (like a cake with raisins, currants and marzipan in) I have EVER seen! It stretched almost the entire length of the platform. There was a Christmas Tree, a camera crew, people in santa suits handing out slices of the cake etc. It was a promotion from Lidl, and a very welcome one too. I don't really like the cake, but knew my colleagues would so I brought a slice in for them to share (it's a generous slice).
I also got a 25% off voucher for the cake in store. Taking it from a whopping 2.99 to 2.24! lol. How very MSE. OH likes the cake though, so may use it!
Oh yes, and saw a lot of fire engines and amblances screeching off past the station this morning too. I was quite worried that it must be a really awful fire. Looked it up when I got to work. I kid you not, the entire fire department rushed out because a workman had seen a bike lamp in one of the canals and assumed someone must be in there! There was no one in the water.
I'm not sure why the entire fire brigade would've been needed even if there was a person in there, but hey ho, just glad no on was hurt after all.
Have a good day folks! It's Friday!!!!! Whoop! Whoop!

Morning all, and well done MinniMe!
Just £1 today please.
ETA: I'm going to wipe out the debt to Dad next week, he has a standing order set up for £20/week to me (separate to the debt) to pay for my cleaner. He's disabled and I do a lot for him so that's his 'thank you'. Anyway I'm going to cancel the S/O for 8 weeks to wipe out the debt. But I can't do it just now because the S/O is due to come out next business day.*Insert interesting words here*0
