Back from hols late last night. Not in work until Monday. Will do a quick catch up with the diaries. I am pondering my goals and aims still so as soon as I have that sorted I will be posting them. This year is going to be a really good sorting out my life year.
Happy New Year everybody.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Morning Cheri, hope the holiday was relaxing (once you got past the delays and russians
)
Today is my 2nd day back at work but my first with the house to myself so I can try and get organised. I spent a few hours this morning looking at ways to earn extra via cash or vouchers as I am counting this as all part of "work" so I take the same attitude with it rather than just bits here and there.
I look forward to hearing your plans and goals, x0 -
Thanks Pippa. It was a real adventure and time to take stock was just what we needed.
Love the idea of doing the surveys etc as part of "work". I will be doing the same. Now I really should be getting out and about to enjoy myself more so I am off for a very long walk. Amazing what not having a car can do for the soul.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Back from a very lovely walk with Moo. Picked him up from his holiday home yesterday. He looked very happy to see us. He had obviously had a fantastic time as he kept going up to the couple and giving them really lovely cuddles. It was so lovely to see. When we opened the car he jumped in without waiting for his bed to go in
He did however sit looking out of the back window watching the two danes and the couple all the way along the lane and only turned round and gave me a big kiss once we turned out of the lane.
Today he has had a very long walk to the forest, lots of sticks and chasing in the stream. I really missed him and I have decided that he missed me too as he keeps coming up to me an nudging me. I am now sitting eating lunch at the kitchen table and he is snuggled up on my feet. I am plotting when I should be cleaning.
In not so good news OH just rang - his contract is definitely finishing on the 14thto that but
to him coming back home! At least we know before I set the yearly budget. So this month is going to be very tight now as he did not get paid for the last two weeks, only has two weeks in work before finishing and he is already booked to go off to Kitzbuhl for his annual skiing holiday at the end of January. Hey ho, I love a challenge!

At least you knew it may happen. I'm sure he will find something else, hopefully closer to home.
Bless Moo for all the cuddles :smileyhea0 -
Good to see you back Cheri - sorry about OH's job but glad it will mean you see more of him iyswim.
So glad Moo was so well looked after and happy in his 'digs'
Good luck with the budget challenge and take care xxNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
