I have more than enough for my needs BUT I really WANT a landrover

I think that it is really good. It is not tested on animals which is very important to me. I went for years not wearing makeup because I couldn't use Almay. It is plant extracts Pippi so it is right up your street. I think that most places do the makeover thing. If you went to them and told them that you struggle to find something that you dont react to I am sure that they will put some on for you to test. Why not try asking Santa for some? The face wash is sublime. It is expensive but I usually buy it via quidco a I think it is called salon direct or something like that. They often have offers on and you get cashback pretty quickly.
I think OH has bought my pressie today, he disappeared and he usually does that when he is doing something nice for me. I no longer tell him off if he does a disappearing act when shopping given that the last time I had a right go at him and when we got in the car I kept saying that I could smell something perfumey it turned out he had bought me my favourite L'occitane perfume and just walking into the shop you smell lovely. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Cheri saw this and wondered if you know about it ?

Thanks Ellie, I had heard that and checked it out with the tourist board who told me that we would be fine with snow chains  I had better check it out again I suppose dont want to be fined after all. Seems as I resolve one thing another one pops up GREAT.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. There's such a lot of detail to be resolved in your trip, isn't there! You do sound like you're getting it done tho.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

True KC, true. I had checked about the winter tyres. I told them I was travelling in December (rang them in November) and they said that it was recommended but not a legal requirement. I read the tourist site which prompted me to ring. Although the site did say at that time that it wasnt legal I thought that I should check. Seems that the rules have changed and from 4th Dec they are required. The problem in tracking some down in time. Do you ever feel that somebody is trying to tell you something
Spent best part of the day in North Wales with the family who will be looking after Moo. Yay, it is resolved. The family are so lovely and Moo had a lovely time playing with the two Danes. They all live in a lovely thatched house in a very rural location which has no less than 7 farmers fields attached that they can walk through never having to go in the lanes or on the lead. Moo and the two danes were so happy running around the fields it was amazing to see him playing rough and tumble. He did ware himself out though and he is currently snoring on his bedOH (I dont like using that phrase either but didnt know what to call him, perhaps Mr Moo?) is also snoring in bed. Poor Love has been driving around all weekend trying to sort stuff out and now I have to break the news that we need to change the tyres
Oh well.I love a challenge and this holiday has been a real challenge. However it all adds up to good research if we do end up going to buy my dream ski chalet in the Austrian/German Alps. At least I am coming to terms with some of the bureaucracy now.

What a lovely exhausting weekend (except the tyres but we'll forget that bit for now ). So glad you have found a special place for Moo.
OH will think you have gone mad if you call him Mr Moo by mistake but we know who he is.

I'd go with Mr Cheri personally, but it's whatever you feel comfortable with!
(or can be bothered typing - OH is very short! :rotfl:)
