I have been out today and feel quite bright. I think that the change of scenery did me good. Even if it was just the Drs and the Cafe. (sshhh I wont mention the £40 worth of Clarins that I treated myself to on the way back to the bus stop) my Dad. This will need to be addressed. Operation Tidy Myself Up

Ooh what did you buy from Clarins? When you reschedule the hair appt and use the new make-up you'll feel better about yourself.

And Moo's new dog sitters...I think I'd like to be left with them for a few days myself:rotfl:

Oh you do all make me smile thank you.

GG it is a shock isn't it when you catch site. I nearly said hello. Only problem is that she has been dead 2 years and even if she weren't she would be 200 miles away! Still forgot there for a minute.

Cheery - what are you like, I can categorically state that no moustache ins sight when we met. (Thats not to say that you didnt have an operation tidy up before that............JUST KIDDING)

Mags - sssshhh dont tell Pippi that I spilled the beans but it was the True Radiance Foundation and Extra length mascara!! I have to admit to nearly falling over when she said the price. I love Clarins but I usually buy it via quidco and a beauty site over there but I have run out and wasnt going to buy any until after Christmas but after seeing the state of myself I just had to cave in. I really love Clarins (not tested on animals and natural product) so I allow an amount per month in my budget. I would really like the beauty flash balm but cant justify it. Yes sounds like the dog sitters are erm ........... well lets just say that there was a porsche in the drive so I doubt they will steal him from me :)

Pippi - I am pleased that DS likes the book. I hope that it helps. MGs courses have been a great hit I hear and Cheery can testify to that as she attended. Is it of use to you too? I have the Mind to do Business one and when I am back in the right frame of mind I intend to read it and put it into practice. Double Trouble I think it is has downloaded some free software from Tony Buzan site to do mapping on line. Looks really good and I will give it a go.
LOL at you throwing your glasses away. If only it were that simple for me.

@pippi :rotfl:The Irish government are helping me cut back on cosmetics with the budget this week. I'm going to be down almost €30 a week :( so absolutely minimal Clarins, etc for me for a while but I do have loads of cosmetics in stock so won't really be going without.;)

@cheri Foundation is always recommended to be one of the items it's worth spending more on so good choice, it'll last for ages too. The dog sitters could be wealthy people who don't need to work but choose to work at something they love. Wonder if Moo will be going for Sunday drives in the Porsche:D

Well done on still allowing yourself a special treat. Last year I was given Clinique make up for the first time, it lasts so much longer than the cheap stuff, my next addition to it would be the foundation but unless I get some for Chrimbo it will have to wait.

I don't wear it every day but my sister wont go out without it.

I used to look like my dad but now I am my mum. Wish I was like my Auntie - many years ago she was one of the glamour girls on Wheel of Fortune with Hughie Green and went out with Stirling Moss and was at one point engaged to some Italian F1 driver. She married someone else and they are still together but oh to have had Stirling as an Uncle :D!

Yep, it took me many years before treating myself to Clarins. I used to go into the shop and just look at it and smell it :rotfl::rotfl: Then somebody bought me some Clinique facial wash etc but it didnt agree with me. At the same time somebody bought me a facial and the salon used clinique and gave me lots of samples. After that I saved up and treated myself. The foundation lasts me a good 12 months now that I work from home. I do like to wear it when out though. I put some on today for the first time in 4 weeks and I feel FAB!

Pippajo, your aunty sounds very glamorous and I am sad to say that I remember the wheel of fortune with Hughie Green and I used to prance around the living room "like one of the ladies" I used to go to Ballet and I dreamed of being on the stage like the glamorous ladies. :rotfl:

I've never tried it either (I'm a £2 from boots foundation kind of girl :rotfl:) but my sister swears by it (she has eczema and can't use lots of stuff), sounds great though! :T

My sister is a clarins girl, I love clinique and a friend can only use Chanel, I dread to think how much that costs!
