I'm often convinced the moon plays a part in these things and its quite big at the moment - glad you've found a way to do the bad thing with a good thing
Hugs!
Oooooo Fay, you are so right! And tonight is a full moon  Doubt I will see it the rain clouds have arrived.
When I used to work in the Benefits Agency on reception we kept a check on the phases of the moon. Sound daft? Believe me when I tell you we always had very strange people coming in during the new moon phase and that was just the staff :rotfl::rotfl:Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. My mum works in the medical records department at a psychiatric hospital, and they're always MUCH busier at the full moon! Absolutely no scientific evidence whatsoever, but I'm willing to believe it anyway0

Mmmm. Even Moo had me up in the middle of the night last night for no apparent reason. I do think there is something in it, despite me being a very rational sceptic. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Thanks Cheery, I have just had a revelation and been in the kitchen making a stew for tea. I now have it in the oven, cup of tea and I realised that I can actually write up my meeting later this evening so I am going to watch last weeks x factor on i player. How sad am I?
The joys of working from home!
Mum always said her class were worse at full moon, and the kids at karate are definately harder work and a bit loopy!
Glad you found your purse.0 -

Thank you both.
Well it really is silly oclock. Not sure if my tummy is fluttering because I am tired, expecting the results or because I had a falling out with OH on the phone last night and, as a result, had about 2 hours sleep! Walking Moo around the village at 5.15 in the pitch black (our lights are turned off after 12pm)and driving wind and rain is not a pleasant experience
It would appear that OH is not coming home tonight as expected as his son (who invariably disappears off the radar when things are going just fine with him but pops up when he isnt working/needs help/has nothing better to do) has contacted him finally. It was his birthday this week and OH had been trying to speak with him all week. He managed it on Monday with an agreement that he would contact him again the following day to organise an evening out(OH is currently living just 20 mins away from him during the week). He then disappeared and was incognito until yesterday when he reappeared and announced that he wanted to go out tonight. What could OH do but agree? Feel quite selfish now because I gave him a bit of a hard time about it. Partly because I was really looking forward to him coming home. We have hardly seen each other through the summer and I am really feeling quite lonely at the moment. But I also wanted him to be here to either celebrate or commiserate my news.
Oh well, que sera, sera. So I am off into the shower. Have to be out of the house for 6.30 for the two and half hour drive to Swansea. 7 hours with fresher students talking about politics! and then a two and half hour journey home. Deep Joy. And somewhere in that day I am getting a phone call from the boss. I am on my own on the stand so cant even take 5 when I get the call. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons.
