Have you called Lidl? Have you checked the car. MIL panicked when she lost hers and it had fallen between the side of the seat and the door and wedged in.
Please universe - bring it back to Cheri!0 -
Have you found it yet? It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

Thanks Pippa.
I know that I had it when I came home for Lidl because I put it in my usual storing place. It is just not there now but I dont remember taking it out for anything else.I am thinking of other things now and I am sure I will suddenly remember doing something with it. If it doesnt turn up by tomorrow I will simply phone the bank and cancel the card. I have checked online and there are no payments waiting to clear so I know that it hasnt been used since Lidl which reinforces that it is here somewhere. I bet I find it in a pocket or something. Luckily it is just my coin purse so nothing other than bank card and £5 in there. It was a present though when I left my last job to move to Wales so is a bit sentimental. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Oh no Cherisong!
Fingers crossed you find it soon. Might it be in a coat pocket, or another handbag? Or did you perhaps run in the house desperate for the loo and take it upstairs with you?? (just thinking of all the places our house keys end up when we've 'lost' them!) Good luck xx

Thanks everybody for the positive vibes. I was trying to remain calm but in truth I was really annoyed with myself. Well, I found it! Would you believe it was in the freezer? I have read on here that people freeze their debit card but they usually do that on purpose.Mmmm, I probably shoved it in that drawer thinking I was putting it in the drawer where it usually goes. Now I reckon that means one of two things.
- I am very stressed and it is starting to show
- I am more ditzy than I thought that I was.
So whilst confessions are the order of the day I will confess that is the second stupid thing I did. The other was going to the beach on Friday and walking for 2 hours up and down the beach, coming back to the car and finding the door wide open and the boot up!!!! Yup, I had just gotten carried away and after changing my shoes I just walked off with Moo and left the car wide open. Well I guess that proves my theory that my car is of no use to anybody else whatsoever but is simply a kennel on wheels. :rotfl::rotfl:

Yes, I just laughed my spotty socks off! I think that I am becoming more like my Nan every day
Should be working but I cant summon up any enthusiasm to write up the meeting notes that I am in the middle of. :rotfl: So sorry, don't mean to laugh, but :rotfl:
If you're stressed, slows you need to slow down for a bit. Can you have an energising break from work for half an hour and come back to it refreshed?0 -
Thanks Cheery, I have just had a revelation and been in the kitchen making a stew for tea. I now have it in the oven, cup of tea and I realised that I can actually write up my meeting later this evening so I am going to watch last weeks x factor on i player.
