I have more than enough for my needs BUT I really WANT a landrover

Well, I just stopped for lunch and decided that I would have a catch up on the diaries.
You ladies are amazing, it never ceases to amaze me how much love, support and generosity oozes out of every (well almost every) person I have come across on these boards. Thank you so much Fay and Moo for your very generous offers. Should I take either of you up on this then I would of course pay the going rates for home boarding. I do think that Scotland is a little out of the way Fay, in fact we had considered Scotland as the holiday destination but OH really fancied somewhere different. I think that he is a little afraid to come back to Orkney because he left there very reluctantly and he has some very happy memories of the place. He says that he feels like his life turned upside down when he left there. Lots of factors to him leaving and not all happy outcomes.
I am feeling very positive and I am sure that it will work out and we will get our holiday and that Moo will be well looked after whatever I decide to do. Something that Moo2Moo said and MGs challenges have made me stop and think about how many times I use Moo as an excuse not to do things and it happens too often. If I am to get the most from life then I have to start making things work in a more imaginative way.
Thanks again ladies you are wonderful. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Looks like Moo will be sorted out one way or another. The German Alps must be very pretty at Xmas - what a lovely idea.
I'll keep everything crossed and vibes for FridayIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
If you move to Germany will your OH change his job or can he do it long distance using flights to get around?0

He is freelance in the work that he does but it is universal so he could work there too. To be honest though we are both very flexible. We just both always wanted to go to Germany since we were both kids, funny that we have always wanted the same thing. I took all of my exams to go into the travel industry with a plan to move to Germany Black Forest was my dream one day. It has just taken longer than I though when I was a kid. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Aw, thanks so much Fay. Hey if its just you and OH and you fancy a holiday by the sea in Wales you could come and stay here to look after him! Oh and the Parrot! ONLY JOKING (kind of)
You are all so lovely thanks so much I am feeling very positive. Would you believe that, quite by chance, myself and Spud30 on MGs thread have discovered that we both have Danes from the same breeder and my Moo;s Grandad is her Raven's Dad. Too complicated for me to work out relationship but Spud30 reckons that makes Moo her Raven's nephew? Such a small world. Oh added to that I was born where she lives HA!!Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Ok, I am not panicking but I cant find my purse. Havent seen it since last Thursday when I went to Lidl, not in the place I always put it
I have done so well with no spend days since last Thursday. Today I need to buy petrol and can I find the blooming thing? NO. caused me to be late for my meeting and I have that sick feeling, you know the one where your stomach is doing backflips.
I will be calm,
I will be calm
My purse is here
