The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body The more efficient your body, the better you feel and the more you will use your talent to produce outstanding results.

I was just having a bit of a internet browse and came upon this sentence. It pulled me up in my tracks. I am so tired most of the time at the moment despite walking for miles every day. So I got to thinking that I need to up my exercise regime. Other than walking for miles I will start to do something. After all, I did register for the London marathon and you can bet your bottom dollar that because I am not fit I will get chosen :rotfl::rotfl:
I think that I will go and see if I can find an ipod on the cheap so that I can download the couch25k things.

Is anybody else reading my witterings doing this, I need support and motivation and a bloomin great size 12 boot up my behind.

    .

I think there's some truth in this because for the last week or so I have just been slobbing out on the sofa in the evenings and I have been nodding off and in turn feeling rubbish the next day, then feeling tored again so slobbing out on the sofa and so on and so on.....

I feel much more energised when I am dashing round the house in the evenings.

Glad you had a lovely weekend and what a find your colourist is - someone who really cares :)

I am right behind you with my lovely new shoes :p.

I have saved that quote and I think I will go back and save others over to a word document. I can never remember them but do love them.

Thanks Pippa, lovely new shoes (high heels at that) are just as effective as size 12 workmen boots. Kick all you like when you see me flagging.

Well the wind is howling around the house and I can hear the rain lashing against the windows. Just 5 minutes and then I will get out of bed and take Moo on our daily romp around the forest. I am back in work today. A bit difficult to do anything as my laptop and berry were duly handed in before my holiday for upgrading, with the promise that they would be delivered by the time I was back. Well no sign of either. All of my appointments are in my outlook calendar and so I have no clue, other than this afternoon, what I should be doing this week. (note to self, buy a paper diary and start keeping a duplicate. although I hate that because things get missed) I have a vague recollection of needing to be in Swansea Uni on Friday! This afternoon will be a lovely one though as I attend the Princes Trust end of Team presentations and they have been piloting a programme for me which is going really well.

Money wise I am so pleased with myself. Just before the holiday I thought that I had blown the budgets but I forgot about all of the expenses that were still owing to me from last month. Just checked the banking and they have hit the account so I now have a very healthy balance again. Also I received a call from Virgin CC offering me a 0% deal. Now I do have a big chunk of debt (paying very high interest) on my MINT card so this offer is excellent. The question is though how long will they hold the offer open. Next week I should find out if I get the severance which will mean that if I do I could pay the amount of next month - thus incurring two months of high interest which would be considerably less than the btf. However if I dont get the severance then it would make sense to transfer the amount across. Mmmm decisions decisions. I think that I will ring them up again tonight and ask them if they can hold the offer open until 25th Sept.

Right off to don the rather fetching waterproofs and my lovely green wellies.

Hope you all have a lovely day

The sun is shining here! They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks but my old black lab is driving me insane! He was on reduced food 2 or 3 times a day as kept bringing it back up in a plegm ball, I wouldn't put him under anaesthetic and tests as just too old and may not have survived. Gradually with a lot of research and trial and error he is much better and is eating well again (although for some reason cannot manage mixer or complete biscuits).

The new trick - he has his food, a couple of minutes later he goes and stands in the kitchen barking asking for more (this dog didn't really bark for the forst 10 years of his life!) Last night I tried to give him more food and he was bit poorly so this morning, back to his normal amount, he asked for seconds, then he asked for thirds! He won't shut up! Bet the neighbours love us

Have a fab afternoon, hope the equipment comes back soon - or not - so you could have a few more days off ;)

My favourite quote of Tony Robbins is 'raise your standards'. That coupled with the 'I'm not worth it' as seen on Hypnos thread a few weeks ago pulls me up.

I too am feeling the lazy coziness of autumnal evenings surround me.

Now what is this couch download thing you are on about ?

Strange, my reply from this morning seems to have disappeared. DC if you like Tony Robbins quotes you will love
“You are now at a crossroads. This is your opportunity to make the most important decision you will ever make. Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don't think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it carefully. Make it powerfully.” I think that fits you just perfectly right now given the discussion on your thread re perfect jobs.
Pippa, a new stilletto heel would be just as effective as a size 12 methinks :rotfl::rotfl: Dont you just love dogs, they really know how to have you running around. Mine has been spoiled rotten whilst away, he has now taken to standing at the gate on the living room door and barking at me in a "why cant I come in there" kind of way and my friends say that he didnt get the run of the house.

DC couch25k thing is something I picked up on Hypnos thread. I havent investigated it fully yet but it is some kind of programme that gets you into running in a sensible manner. They reckon you can go from nothing to being able to run 5k in (I think) six weeks. There is a thread somewhere, I will try to find a link. Fancy joining me?

Yes, when I went to the gym I used to be at the doors of the gym by 6.30 and in work by 8.30, I felt so much more energetic. I think that I am getting old.

I was a very naughty girl yesterday, after my meeting I wandered into smiths and came out armed with 3 books on gardening. Last night I did the MG challenge and cleared out my briefcase, I found a zipped pocket that I had forgotten existed and inside was an unopened envelope. The briefcase was a present from my OH the Christmas before moving to Wales and starting the new job. It was also the last Christmas my Mum was with us. Anyway, the envelope was the Christmas card from my Mum, I must have put it in the briefcase on Christmas Day (she always gave me my card on Christmas day) and inside was £20!!!! with a lovely message to buy something nice. I had just been feeling very guilty about buying the books so that made me feel much better and cheered me up again.
Plan for today is to work my socks off - computer is being TNT'd which means that I can access my emails and server (security settings mean that I cannot access from any other laptops) so I will have lots to catch up on. I hope then to have a quieter day tomorrow so that I can finish a bit earlier as OH is home for the weekend.

Thinking also about nipping to Argos tonight to get a slow cooker as I have quite a few nice recipes for one. It is next door to Lidl and they have lots of vegetables on offer from today from 16p -39p according to the grabbit board so that should be a good saving for the weekend. I am just trying to work out if it is cheaper to run the slow cooker for several hours than having the electric cooker on for an hour Mmmmm needs some investigating.

Well for the first time this week it isnt raining outside

    Have a good day all
