hi guys

just wonderin wat u all think about the look of a credit/debit card and do u take pride in ur cards? lol

i for one always look at peoples cards in shops an stuff an ther is really only one of my three debit cards that i like using, an use all the time if i can get away with it , as i find the other two really ugly an find it embarrassing usin solo and electron cards

how u guys feel about it and do u hav a fav card? :L

I like my RBS visa debit, its a nice blue with a lighter blue pattern, alot better than the plain grey one HSBC gave me.
I thought solo was being phased out by all banks so they could all use visa debit

the other one is this VILE yellow-coloured solo card from the ulster bank which i nearly hide in my wallet just so people dont see it if they r havin a wee nosy in a queue like i usually do lol

it hasnt been phased out yet, i think it still in the process altho it cant go quick enough thats all i can say

the affrontry of standin in somewer like tescoz and bein told they dont accept it is too much to bare

having said that I have classy black cards from First Direct and Egg in my purse! Not the reason I have the accounts at all but decent looking ie not vile yellow etc!

I don't know why but alot of people on MSE seem to have an infatuation with debit cards.

You'll find many threads regarding online and offline use etc.

I think its abit sad really if your bank have decided to give you a visa electron, solo or full visa debit, then its for a reason generally because you have an adverse credit history or something similar.

I only keep my A&L debit card, my Capital One (nice black card) and my pink Vanquis in my purse - I dont carry my Electron cards any more so maybe Im a card snob too :rotfl:
