Indeed, he was even worse last night slating every female in the country, I have now reported him to the Abuse Team, hopefully they will remove him.
I have deliberately avoided his posts.
scary if it was worse,, however i do wonder why someone who seems to hate these forums is even posting on them, and how they can not grasp the concept and the plain facts that
younger drivers cause a higher proportion of accidents and therefore cost the insurance industry a much higher proportion of the costs (pay outs) than other age groups and therefore pay a proportionally higher premium because of this
as you move from one age group to the next your insurance premium changes in relation to the proportion of costs said group costs the insurance industry
if you do not have a crash your get rewarded with no claims bonus's, if you do have a crash you have to pay more on your next premium
most people who are paying less now will have had to pay more when they was younger, my insurance on my first car was 2 times more than the car cost to buy (i am 27 now)
anyways where has the ignor button gone anywayDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
But ive never crashed into anything, ive been driving 9 years now and still havent had an accident.
Well, Jamie, I've been driving for 47 years (passed my test in 1963) and never been in an accident. You obviously don't understand how car insurance works, but I'm really sorry that you weren't caught and taught a lesson about it when you were fronting.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Ive been alert enough to maybe avoid 50 accidents a year as a result of these older drivers not paying attention. Next time one pulls out in front of me im just goign to speed up and hit him.
No offence mate but if I had to avoid 50 accidents a year I would be thinking to myself that perhaps its not the other drivers at blame? no?0 -
I do feel sorry for jamie789 as he doesn't seem able to grasp 2 simple principles
Your insurance is based on risk and the damage you can cause to a 3rd party
Insurance campanies are a business - there sole purpose is to make money !0 -
Please can we stop the on line argument- about insurance- all I wanted was advice about which car would be a good deal for £1500 something sensible without getting into huge debates about - insurance a decent car for someone that has hassle with an oldish polo.
Im thinking a Ka or a fiesta?
Citreon versus peugot
So car buffs advice please? and no more insurance stuff0 -

And people like you just accepting it and never challenging it is what lets them get away with it. Too many people like you in this country just letting them get away with it because you cant be bothered to challenge them.
If more people cared and did something about it we could finally bring insurance companies down and force them to do things properly.
But, the British are easy to make money out of, they'll just pay it and go "oh well".0 -
I dont think they should be allowed to make money out of something which is compulsory. I think insurance should be not for profit.
But alas they do make money, mostly out of the youngsters. So its about time you showed them some respect unless you want to pay the extortionate bills?
Imagien if every driver under 21 stopped driving, insurance firms would lose MILLIONS and to keep all their people employed they'd need to make that money back somewhere wouldnt they?
Insurance companies work in a free competitive market. Perhaps you would be happier living in a communist state where everything was fairand equal:rotfl:0 -
Its only free and competative for the companies. Its not competative for the consumers. I want a consumer focused side to it. And fair and equal sounds good to me.0
