Soappie - get well soon vibes for BB. I know nothing of dogs but could she have caught something from the chickens?

Unlikely. She's probably eaten something disgusting somewhere or just picked up a bug. There's no mess to clean up this morning so I'll give her some rice shortly. Jenny, enjoy your weekend.

    Hi all
soappie: when our pup was little she got campylobacter from somewhere.. Ended up overnight at the vets on a drip to rehydrate her.. Hope BB gets better soon.
MOAM: how did the competencies go? When I was in the civil service the main competencies were things like analysis & decision making, team working, delivering results, learning etc. Doing appraisals took a looooooonnng time. Writing our own performance reviews took even longer!

Found out late last night that we've got visitors coming sat night - mon morning. One spare room is ready but the other needs a major declutter, it's been used a dumping ground :( so no prizes for guessing what I'll be doing later on.. Rest of the house is not too bad thanks to the thread!!

Good luck with your new diary MrsChaos, sounds useful.

It is, thanks. Somebody on here (natty) recommended the products to me and I think they're great. PM me if you'd like details.

    Plan for today:
    potter around until 8.30ish
    make lunch

take DS2 to school for his last day
take DS1 to see doctor and collect prescriptions while I'm there
get petrol (only put £10 in yesterday - dodgy pump)
[STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE]remind DS1 to phone guitar teacher
take DS1 with me to school and put him to work
flying at school - hoping to manage 4 1/2 hours
    collect DS2 from school
possibly go to M'hall straight from picking him up
