Loving the nostalgia trip into seventies programmes....... Can I add Follyfoot? I think the theme was the Lightning Tree? There was a young denim clad rebel type in it played by Christian Rodska. He was a young buck then, but I saw him in something the other day and realised how we have all moved on ....... ;)

Well not much flying for me today I'm afraid, though managed to get two loads of washing in and dried, folded ready for ironing tomorrow. Food shopping completed yesterday and I can report that Oven Pride certainly did the trick with my black hole of Calcuttat that is the oven.....! In celebration, I cleaned out my baking tins/pan drawer and saw the bottom of it for the first time in a dunno how long ... :rotfl:

Thursday treat is to go to a local art club, where for three hours I can paint, draw, do anything like that, and be served two mugs of tea - one at the beginnning and one at 'half time'. I was shown how to do a watercolour wash today and did a little moonscapey thing. Also learned how to 'do' rocks with some wet paint and a credit card!!! :T

skimmed through the posts and can add my thoughts to those already extended to Serena, Toots and LondonWelshcake

Why is it so warm but no sun, i hate heat. Nobody slept well because it was far to warm. DS2 is a little git today, screaming in the car outside the doctors because HE forgot his ds. He is so going to bed after dinner.

I've cleared our bedroom out today and sorted clean clothes. That's it so far, hopefully this evening i'll get some more done.

    Congrats mumto5..

As for the 70's shows, i don't have a clue what your on about. I heard casey jones and thought yea i know that name, i have a dog that goes in the bath called that but it's not the same.:(:rotfl:

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Decluttered bass lesson again....

I've done two loads of washing and decluttered a "maxillofacial surgery" appointment. Sounds bad, but I don't need anything done, yay!

In and back and tired from work and now thinking about tea.

Kitchen smells a bit, maybe the sink, off to investigate.

May do a slow moving HHC.

cleaned kitchen and bathroom till they were sparkling, done 5 loads of washing and hoovered the whole house.

now can i go back to the great theme tunes of my childhood? so many of those programmes had great theme tunes...including follyfoot - well done jan59.

I know it wasn't a childrens prog - but I loved the theme tune to the Virginian.....
