best laid plans and all that...
got up, pegged out washing. Picked up ironed stuff off floor under maiden *rolls eyes at kitten and at self for bringing said kitten into Valliland;)*...and my mum came - admired kitten;) (knew she would:rotfl:) and she told me dad was on his way down to chop down half dead tree which has started to die because the cat is using it as a scratching post. Well he brought an axe, his chainsaw and some loppers SO I suggested he might cut down a few overhanging branches from leylandii over the back fence. Well the upshot of it is the whole hedge has been retrimmed, looks much better and the green bin, emptied this morning, is full again.
I have washing to bring in, bed to make, lunch to scoff then off up the M1,M18,A1M and and a flash on and back off the M62...I need to set off at 2:30 (ish).
Could squeeze in a HHC on the bathroom...

Yes! Round the compost bin I can cope with (it's at the back of the garden, and Mr LW gets to empty the kitchen caddy into it 9 times out of 10) but we're getting them buzzing around the fruit bowl too, which is driving me round the twist.:eek:cyclingyorkie wrote: »whilst I'm logged on here and remember - is anyone else having a bigger problem than usual with the little flies this summer - i think they are fruit flies?
