Happy Anniversary to the Triker Twosome and Happy Anniversary to Mumo5for yesterday
went to Cas Vegas to see Toy Story 3 with OH...
I confess to
squealing with fright (Lotso made me jump)
giggling frequently
wiping tears away from eyes discreetly
loved it loved it loved it
I also confess to coming off the road (A1M) to soon - I should have stayed on to the M62 then come off BUT I did get to be exactly where I wanted.
Oh and I went into my first ever Home bargains and found a branded item which sells for £4.99 in Boots for 99p (though I usually get it for £2.49 in body care)

Morning all,
Have been without internet connection thanks to the router again (it finally gave up the ghost), hence no posting, and I've now got a new one.
Had an unexpected day in Brighton yesterday (was meant to be going up to Crawley to meet uni friends, who cancelled on me on Wednesday and I'd already bought non-refundable train tickets - southern saver £10 for unlimited travel on southern trains) as I decided not to waste my train ticket. Got lots of free goodies for opening a Debenhams card, but the trouble is, the box was so heavy and I got it at the beginning of the day, and by around 2pm my arms were aching and I needed a rest. So, I went back to Debenhams and got a free large cappuccino using the voucher from my new card, and read the free Metro paper from the train.
Bought some bare minerals makeup for the wedding (quite expensive, but apparently it lasts for ages and is good for your skin) as I've decided to save a bit of money by doing my own makeup as Sandals charge a fortune. Still not 100% sure about the colour match, so will ask them to do it again in the Southampton branch on Thursday when I go shopping there with my friend who wants to go to Babies R Us down there.
Today Moon and my M&D and I are going out for lunch at Fire and Stone in Gunwharf, using my vouchers for 2 pizzas or pasta dishes for £10. Then we are going to the historic dockyards as my Dad wants to see HMS Warrior.
Doing well on the MSE bargains, but not so well on the flying front. I need to put another load of washing on, and take the load on the line in as it's been hung out for 2 days.:o
I've probably missed you, but have a fantastic hen weekend Jenny.
Just taken car in for MOT and service, so keeping fingers crossed that all is well with it and it doesn't need any extras doing to it. My Dad spent ages putting new bulbs in on Tuesday, as the casing hadn't been put back on properly (we think the young son of the mechanic did it last time), and the casing had filled with water and fused the bulbs. Originally it had just been a break light out, but the indicator and the reverse light went when the water swished around, so I've had to buy him some new bulbs to replace the ones that he put in for me.
Well I'm off to get that washing in and put the next load on. Then I'm off to wash my hair and get the nasty volumising products out that the hairdresser put in when she cut it.
Froddy let me know when you want to meet up. I'm a bit busy next week as I've got to look after my Nan, but should be free the rest of the holiday.

:hello:hi sexymouse! Gald you've sorted the router and are back with us now!
I've done several loads of washing, including the covers from the second sofa (did one on Wednesday). I'm pleased that they've washed really well, as it's the first time I've tried doing it.
I've done some flying, but off list this week, can't concentrate. DD and I went up to Lakeside yesterday, to I**A, where I replaced the dinner plates I smashed a couple of months ago, and DD researched and chose shelving and wardrobe - she wants to redo her bedroom. Then a quick zip round Primark, very restrained for us, didn't buy more than one bag full! I'm saving my spending for the holiday.
Shopping just arrived - :coffee:anyone??
pigpen - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow for you.
grateful - thank you. DS2 still very upset. They are all keeping in touch with news on Facebook, and one girl went round to visit the parents, not easy for her to do. They have asked for as many friends as possible to go to the funeral, but DS2 not sure if he could face it. We don't know when it is yet.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Thanks for the get wells for BB. She 'went' in the garden this morning and it was much more solid so she had her bowl of plain cooked rice which went in about 5 seconds. Let's hope it passes through normally.
Have decluttered my in tray. Am now in surfing mode as there's nowt else to do....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
