still no news on the mortgage front grrrrr  they said to call tomorrow morning and they will chase it up with the underwriters :(

good news is that i saw a pine bed advertised on intranet at work for only £30 and they will deliver it for an extra £5 :D need to have a look at it first but if it is suitable then that means one of the two beds i need to buy i have got for £65 under budget :T fingers crossed i can pick up another bargain bed!

was hoping for a NSD today but remembered i need to pay 60p to get into the sportspark for my salsa lesson tonight (already paid for course) :( o well, 60p is much less than i usually spend! have also been healthy today and not had any junk food :T

been having a think about what to eat for dinner this week as need to plan ahead to prevent me from just going to the tesco express at the top of the road. cant wait till i move as it will be a 5 minute walk so the tempation will not be there! think i will eat the following-

    today- pasta bake
    tomorrow- meatballs and pasta
    wed- fish fingers and mash
    thur- sausage casserole
    fri- stew and pastry

already have all this in freezer so will be free! will need to do more batch cooking at the weekend as i am nearly out of food parcels

i can do a big shop fri evening when i am doing my covert supermarket audit as i can hide behind the trolley and hopefully will not look like too much of a shoplifter :rotfl:can also check out the offers on kitchen stiff eg plates, pans etc... and see if there are any bargains for the house! problem of living with a friend in his house is that i have no stuff except for my bedroom stuff (minus bed) so need to get it all! :( trying to restrain myself from buying everything i like and am scouring my intranet for bargains. need to sign up to freecycle as well :)

Forgot to say have a slow cooker for you as well so that will help you expand your repetoire :rotfl:

just a quick update to say that i have got my mortgage offer :D  :T

unfortunately i bought a mcd for dinner as car is in garage for (free) repair and my friend i was going to bingo with suggested we went there on the way to bingo for dinner. ooops :(

also despite my best intentions i still went mad on the table top games and now only have £2.92 of my weekly budget left :( doh:wall: and no wins either for two weeks in a row  i normally win all the time so very disappointed :(

got leaving drinks for my friend tomorrow after work but i have two audits to do so will just buy one coke and then will need to go. at least i will be making £24.50 :T

not a good day today :( only just got in and eating dinner. been at work since 8 then went straight to supermarket to do my audit and take pictures.

managed to save some cash as my friend was leaving work today and had organised drinks from 4pm. i needed to leave at 5.30 and she was still clearing her desk then so didnt make it to pub!

on the downside another friend has split up with her bf and is really upset. i have offered to take her to see twilight tomorrow to cheer her up so there goes my remaining £2.92 (and a bit more!) we were going to see it next week so will maybe give myself an advance!

bought some bargain cutlery in morrisons today for the house so that was good :)

on a positive note i have made £24.50 today from my audits :D

another late night tonight :( went to sainsburys after work and did my massive shop that i do every two months. had to buy all my meat and ingredients for batch cooking. spemt £45 which i thought was pretty good considering that is pretty much everything i need for my evening meals for the next 6-8 weeks :) on the down side that is now my whole food budget spent until the 19th when i am paid  only need fresh stuff but will have to buy that out of my weekly allowance. need to ensure in future when it is not the big shop month that i keep some aside!

bought some bargains for the house whilst i was there but paid for them seperately so i could keep track. bought a lovely knife block set which was £10 reduced to £5. however when i looked at my receipt i realised i had been charged £25 for it :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: so annoyed as i will now have to go back to sort it out as i was so tired i did not check in shop like i usually do. the sign was definately in front of that product so hopefully they will let me have it at that price! will go and complain anyway in the morning and see what they do :(

i am not doing too well this week with sticking to my budget :( have already gone over by £10 for the cinema last night. i am going to dock that £10 from next week and just have a week where i dont do anything!

plus side is that i have smashed my mystery shopping target this month! :j:T at least i have extra for the holiday fund as soon as that is up to £1000 i can start paying back dad :)

afternoon :) i am aiming for a NSD today, going well so far!

i spent the morning doing an audit and i am now doing some online surveys until i need to do my second audit this evening. will then type of both sets of results and have my dinner. got stew and pastry defrosting so yum yum :) if i have a chance i will continue to do surveys tonght as hoping if i get them done in the next few days i might get allocated another couple :)

no mystery shops for tomorrow so the plan is to go into the city to buy my entertainment unit and some bubble wrap so hoping for a £2 spend day (except the entertainment unit obv :p ) then need to do more survey work as well. also need to sort out the files on my old laptop to put onto new one so that i can sent the old one back to get my £65 cash back :D will be a good chance to have a clear out but i am definately not looking forward to having to import my music to itunes and make playlists etc.... :( will put that off as i use spotify so if i charge my ipod not using the computer wil be able to avoid it for a while! also need to tackle the ironing mountain (looks like everest atm  ) will do it in front of a film and aim to do it in future after each wash (yer right :o)
