Please excuse me:
This is stupid. I went to book a doctors appointment online today. The earliest appointment? August 10th. Surely not everyone's ill?
My local GP's surgery is like that - if you don't ring them between 9 and 10 first thing in the morning on a weekday, you can't get an appointment for weeks, because they think not being able to ring then means you must not need to see them all that much.
(Overlooking, of course, those of us who cannot be coherent at that hour - I go to bed early to try to get up then and be able to use the telephone that early in my day, and I still can't do it.)Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -
I had a kebab on Saturday and opened the box upside; so my kebab fell apart.
Please excuse me:

My surgery is the same.
Obviously you have to know that you are going to be ill a couple of weeks inadvance. :rotfl:I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Well just to let you know that we went for kebabs in the end - kebab of chicken breast over a charcoal grill in a salad filled pitta bread (was quite healthy til i drowned it in mayo and had a huge portion of chips with it !!) - delicious - now have heartburn - serves me right !
That sounds delicious.
Im starving & now I want a chicken kebab.

Welcome to all the newbies, Im another Fibromite, was dx 15 years ago now, how time flies.
I have my regular 6 monthly app with the Rheumi tomorrow and am sure it will be the usual waste of time. I'm getting worked up about it already, should be used to it by now.
I've never had a kebab  I've been a vegetarian for around 10 years but they never appealed to me even before then. Give me a tasty nut roast any dayReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

I'm with you on the lack of kebabs, but I can't stand nut roasts. I like meat too much ever to be a vegetarian.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -

Wow, new decor! Anyone know if they've kept my basket? I'll probably need a lie down later.
Hi everyone, for those who don't know me, I'm the mad, bad Wolf, 50, married for the 2nd time (it was 2nd time lucky, for me:D), no kids unless you count the afore-mentioned 60 yr old one, diagnosed with RA, lupus, congenital scoliosis, clinical depression and social phobia.
I'm about to put the bread machine on, so there'll be fresh baked bread in a few hours, if anyone fancies sandwiches later.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I'll stick around just for the bread smell
