Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
Just found you guys and in two minds whether or not to read the entire 65 pages before or just dive in? Would it seem ignorant not to read the entire 65 pages before? I'm disabled and in debt (due to disability and misdiagnosis :() and also a Christian....So like yeah..God is pretty central to my life....

Was on the frugal board (somewhere else) till a few things happened regarding them and my disability (would rather not say exactly what) and so have come off there. Can do without the pressure in a nutshell.....So semi looking for a new MSE home..

Budget as best as I can baring in mind my last quit smoking attempt resulted in 2 days psychosis so right now I have no other option...

Whoever is homosexual that's not a problem so long as we can agree to disagree on that..I'm not going to sprout Christianity unless it's relevant (I'm actually KJV Calvinist if you want to google it. Don't celebrate xmas or easter cos they're not commanded in the Bible etc etc.).

    So yeah that's me...

    Hope everyone is well

    Hugs

Hello everyone. Welcome to all the newbies. :p

Having a rest day because I'm completely exhausted. :( My new walking aid arrived today. It's a foldable one so I can just put it in my bag when I don't need it but it's handy to have with me for those times when my M.E is making my balance a little crazy and I'm feeling weak or when my hip tendonitis is playing up. :o

Hello everyone; I hope all are having as good a day as possible today.

McCulloch thanks for being so interested.... I could spout for ages about dogs, I love 'em to bits! I'm sure I'd have adored Holly.:o

Beadle aww, sounds like a very stressful visit, (((gentle hug)))

LadyM Ooh, folding walking aid... good move. I have a couple of folding sticks I use when I'm on the scooter, as they fold up neatly into the basket on the front. I need them for when I have to get off and "scoop the poop":D

Needing_help you go ahead and post, sweetie. That's what the thread is for. We may not be able to offer practical help, but we're good at listening and empathising.

Welcome! Don't read all 65 pages - we'll have posted another 65 by the time you finish:rotfl: - just hop in!

We have all sorts here - I'm Pagan myself - so everyone who is happy to "live and let live" is more than welcome.

I understand where you're coming from - I got hounded off a lupus support site myself a few years back.

Anyways - I'm running late as usual, so must go and do some work in RL now.....

    Laters, all.:hello:

*raises hand* The gay one here is also a Unitarian, so it goes with my faith with no trouble, so I don't mind how it goes with anyone else's so long as they don't harass me about it. On most forums the signature line would be to keep me from being bugged by guys hitting on me, which happens a lot until they find out I'm not interested in men that way, so I'm sort of... pre-empting any of that? :P Not that it would happen on this thread, mostly women here. :)

Oh, stiff. Gotta love first thing in the morning after a rainstorm, eh? My carer is late again, since she had a hospital appointment yesterday it makes me worry about her... I want a thunderstorm to come, sod the rain, a change in the air pressure would get rid of this thundering headache. Anyone else stuck on the weather right now?

Trialia I must be unusually dim this week - of course.... that's why I've had a thumping headache for the last two days! It hadn't occurred to me that it was to do with air pressure. D'uh!

Rain dance, anyone?:D Although, actually, could we just wait til I get the washing in.....;)

*chuckling* Well, it certainly is for me! Like my scalp and skull aren't big enough for my brain, I really hate pressure headaches... Good luck with the washing. ;)

I was very interested in the headache and air pressure link. My OH has been suffering horrendous headaches for a while and he was particularly bad over the weekend to the point that I was planning to bully the GP into more extensive investigations.

I had one of the 'uh oh' moments this afternoon. Went shopping and came over a bit 'funny' so got down on the floor pretendiing to check price labels on the bottom shelf, then didn't have the energy to get back up again. I couldn't decide whether it was more embarrassing to stay down there or to ask someone to help me up. :rotfl:

Oh, yes. Changes in the weather, especially in air pressure, are a fairly common environmental trigger for migraines for most of the people I know who have headaches or migraines regularly. Always are for me.

Heh. I know that one. Did that in the Arndale Centre in Manchester once, asked for help to get up and was made to stay there until First Aid came and made me drink a whole bottle of Lucozade before she'd let me get up - hypoglycaemic fatigue.
