    My Dad did the Blackpool Tower to Eiffel Tower bike ride about 15 years ago with a few other fireman and he loved it. Hope your training goes well xxx

    Right, I have lurked on and off for ages (and I might have even posted once or twice on your previous diaries!). But I am making a real effort to stay "in the zone" and have therefore hit that subscribe button as I think your dedication to the cause is fantastic and really motivating :D

    P.S. I loved the post when you had consumed the bottle of wine! I think you have far too much energy for my liking (I am really just jealous as I would love to be able to run or cycle - but dodgy knees put pay to that - another creaker and grinder here :p).
