Hiya.
well, here I am back again and what a bloody awful week it has been too. i'm just so glad that the worst is over and i can carry on moving forward rather than wading through the mud of the last few days. My fashion loook of choice (well, not choice but i dont have a choice!
) is mortitia adams turned into a toad by the wicked witch of the west!! :rotfl:
But no more tears, tears are unproductive and hold us down. I need to be strong for my mum and dad, especially dad who is falling apart at the seams. I need to look at the anniversary of duncs death with fondness at the memories and keep in mind that he is the reason I am doing what i am doing next year. I need to remember that deaths dont always come in 3's and i can stop being scared/sad/insecure that the next phonecall will be bad. life is a rocky road and sometimes it is boulders, not stones it puts in out path I guess its how we tackle the obstacles that truly defines us as a person.
So, this is the plan. I am currently languishing in a nice hot bath (sorry if TMI) and intend to pamper myself for an hour or so (in honesty i realised that my legs were waaaay to hairy to expose at the gym...) then i'm going to have a light bite to eat and then take myself to the pay as you go gym. (i've been a good girl and cancelled my membership for my old gym however it is pishing it down outside at the mo so no outdoor run for me!!) and have a damn good long hard workout!!!
money wise... hmmmm. yeah maybe i will save that one for a new seperate post all of its own.....

Very avant-garde dahling...But no more tears, tears are unproductive and hold us down.
Tears are the oil that get us out of an unproductive situation into a much better one.I need to be strong for my mum and dad, especially dad who is falling apart at the seams.
Cherish your family. When you dread something, it just means you experience it more than once. Worry about the things that are changed by you worrying about them...money wise... hmmmm. yeah maybe i will save that one for a new seperate post all of its own.....

hi all. z thanks for a lovely post. I do cherish my family. so so much which is why it kills me to hear my dad in so much emotional turmoil.
Much much better day today, had a laugh at work and am now round puppy sitting my friends 5 day old husky puppies why she has a sleep. SOOO cute... must not be tempted must not be tempted must not be....
So, finances...
Here is the position with 12 days to go until payday. Well, my envelope system, for the first month of trying has been good. it has really focused my mind on my spending and worked really quite well. I wont lie though, i am going to go over budget there are no 2 ways about it. however i stand to finish the month in a much better financial position than i have done in a number of years and that, in itself feels fab. I havent had to borrow any money from anyone and i feel good. yeah ok, spending has been tight, there hasnt been any frivolity (well, apart from last weekend and i'll come on to that!!) so I am finally feeling that I can keep my head above water. yay!

ok, so, with 12 days to go I have £77.50 in my bank. £12.50 petrol money left, £8.00 food left.. (gulp) and one envelope marked spending money with £20 left in it. so a grand total of £109.50. I have 1/3 of a tank of fuel left so that def needs topping up. 2 trips to chester and back left and need to top up on fresh foody stuffs. so I predict I will go slightly over on the food budget, slightly over on fuel and slightly over on spending.
£30 on fuel, £30 spending and £15 food. so a total of £75 leaving me £34.50 in credit at the end of the month!! Jeez when has that last happened!!! blimey gosh!!
And I still have a fiver laying around from another week at home that can stay there as "pride money!!!"
off to do next months budget yay!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

Wow pania, I'm well impressed at having £34 left at the end of the month!! :j :j (((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) for the tough times you've been having lately though, and good on you for finding ways to move through them and to honour and cherish your friend's memory.
Looks like micromanaging and keep an eye on that pesky bank account really does stop it misbehaving too much! :j0 -
oooh i hope so daffs! i really do!! £34 may not sound like much but for alot of us here its a fortune whoop!!! thanks for the good wishes on my plans to honour duncs memory however i went for a run around a ploughed field a minute ago about 3 1/2 miles and my goodness off road running is a hell of a lot more different to road running, the january and february challenges are going to be hell!! i wonder if there is room in the budget for a pair of trail shoes... hmmm.
