Champagne £5 at Asda - misprice ... quick!!!

I didnt have time to wait for a delivery code as i was at the end of the order. But I didnt want the hassle over £3.50

I was having a look for delivery codes, but couldn't find any either. You got your delivery a quid cheaper than mine though. I ordered too. Hope they deliver, but worry they will turn up with a non-champagne substitution, but will keep my fingers crossed!

The price at Asda Holt Park today was approx £4.9? ( the pence was hidden by the sorry out of stock sticker!).

No stock, (obviously) but it had been reduced to that price!!

Has anybody tried this champagne yet??

Thank you for the tip regarding substitutes, I had unticked the box to decline but after reading previous posts I have gone back to ammend. I could not get a free delivery code to work and so have had to pay £4.50 for tomorrow mornings delivery, hope it is worth it!

Has anybody tried theirs yet?

Hoping its going to be okay for a delivery a week on Tuesday, Im off away tomorrow for a week.
I suppose i can just refuse delivery if they dont honour it..

Hi just a quick update Went through to Dundee(next nearest) for a night out at cinema and went to their asda, first store competely out of stock but person on customer services confirmed it was a mistake but he would try to get me some anyway! It was originally mispriced, I got 5 bottles at another store in Dundee! Hope its nice now... Just to let you know, the reason this is coming up at this price is due to the online side of things, the label does say rollback but it was an error apparently! I think the reason so many of us managed to get some in-store is because (as manager in Perth told me) its the weekend and nobody can get hold of anyone from head office nor from the online guys who made the price change! Score!

I had delivery due today between 10 - 12. Just had a phone call to say out of stock and cannot substitute because the next champagne is approx 15 pounds. If they sold me this they for the same price they would be selling it below cost price and that is illegal as of this week?
